"Two rooms next to each other and next to the kitchen (for 4 people) and one which is on the other side of the cottage, where I slept with my fiancé (I like the fact that I didn’t hear my snoring grandma). Perfect I like the rock in front of the door, really sweet"

"The space is nice. Three bedrooms, a mud room and living room/kitchen. Great space for a family. We got in late so didn’t see the hot tub."

"The shower was awful small. My kids and husband are all over 6 feet tall and even I had trouble fitting. The floors in the kitchen/living room are just plywood. Seems I fished to me. It is very clean and well decorated just unfinished. Also so many candles but no way to light one! Lol. Could use a washer and dryer? As we always seemed to be wet in Iceland."

"This house is just amazing if you wanna have private place in nice nature with everything you need. The kitchen is fully staffed and with main ingredients you could need for cooking. Living room so comfortable and bedrooms are so spacious and cute. We were in such private that we didn’t have to put down the curtains to watch if there will be northern lights. And the hot tub is soo amazing."

"We could find light switch for terrace, but that wasn’t that bad."

"The Laxas cottage was clean, comfortable and well appointed. It was a warm relaxing place for our family of 5 after a long day of travels."

"We did not end up in the hot tub as we had hoped. After filling it, it was only luke warm."

"The house is isolated (something good if you’re interested on seeing the Aurora), but still, close to Blönduós. The house was fully equipped , we felt comfortable, like in our own home. I definitely recommend this place."

"Very cute place, modern furnishing, hot tub, lots of space. Really nice and comfortable overall! Very clean, everything available that you could possibly need."

"It would have been nice to also have a double bed option rather than only single beds. But on the other side this allows for bigger groups to be able to stay here as well. We just moved 2 single beds together, that also worked."

"3 bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Very clean. And the hot tub was such a nice treat after a day of travels. Communication with host was great, very responsive."

"Beds were little- but this is clear in listing. Filling the hot tub took about an hour- but I am also just impatiently waiting to climb in. We arrived late in the dark and every light was off so it was a little tricky to locate. GPS took us right to the gate."

"The remote location with sea views. Best for viewing northern lights, though we weren’t very lucky. The hot tub was awesome. Well equipped kitchen. Well decorated living room."
