"The property is in a beautiful area, and lodges are very unique. The hostess is very responsive and fun to talk to. We played with the friendly dog and cat, which was fun too."

"Amazing please to stay in Iceland , the rooms are so beautiful and comfortable. The views are stunning, and you have horses around walking freely 🥰 This please is like paradise. I would love to stay here at least 3-5 days, but we did ring circles, so we had to keep going. Wanderful please to relax and enjoy nature. The rooms are amazing ."

"Midsitja is an absolute gem. The location is stunningly beautiful and the experience is charming beyond belief. Make sure to bring sandwiches or something when you arrive because you will NOT want to leave. Luckily they stock beer in the room fridge—perfect!"

"Spacious , very comfortable and we were welcomed by the owner’s golden retriever during check in and check out! Very well priced and at a great location with a great view too! We would definitely book this place again if we do come back to Iceland !"

"We stayed in eight different places in Iceland (some twice the price) and this one was our favorite by far. The views of rolling hills and sea from every room were incredible, especially the kitchen. The home was perfectly comfortable, with plenty of extra blankets, towels, etc to get very cozy. We enjoyed the sauna. And we took a long walk along the water to the north, which was stunning. I wish we could have stayed longer. Will never forget this place."

"We loved our stay here. It is remote and peaceful, yet just a short drive to route 1. We enjoyed amazing views of the nearby glacier from the deck and the horses which roam the field. The inside is small but comfortable even for our family of 4 adults. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans. The hosts, who live part time in the house also on the property, are very nice and helpful."
