"Best hostel i have stayed overall, specially their main staff in reception, bar, and hiking experience. These guys are such warm and committed people. The amount of effort put in sharing experiences, bringing people together (not just paid but free ones) and opening multiple avenues for solo travelers to connect with each other is amazing. I was SO impressed with Casa Pepe Puebla that i went ahead and booked Casa Pepe CDMX for the next leg of my journey."

"The location was excellent. Very close to the Zocalo and transport options. The Analco RUTA station was steps away. As a hostel experience, it was very, very good. Opportunities to mix with other travelers, or spaces to work and relax alone - according to your day's desires. The staff was very helpful. In particular, Julian was very friendly, helpful, and informative."

"The kitchen cookware could have been better. The worn out skillets need to be replaced, and there was no spatula! Otherwise, everything was fine. For those who prefer privacy, private rooms are available, but with the corresponding cost."

"Didn’t have any issues whatsoever. Suggestions: Put a larger garbage bin in the washroom(Women’s dorm) and a second smaller one in main room. Hand towels by sink would be helpful. That way people won’t use the toilet paper to dry hands."

"A lovely hostel, located very close to Puebla's charming historic center and its monuments and cultural sites, yet quiet. Warm and helpful staff with recommendations and tips to navigate the city and its surroundings, and a pretty common space."

"The dorm rooms can get really dark even in the mornings with no source of light."

"My 4-person room had comfortable beds with effective privacy curtain and lamp for each bed. Nice and quiet for sleeping. The shower was so nice - clean, water heated quickly, good water pressure, nice smelling soap/shampoo. All the staff were terrific — knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly without exception. Definitely recommend the day trip to Cholulua with Julian and the walking tour of Puebla with Ally for an overview of Puebla (separate days)."
