"The private room didn’t feel private at all. there was a thin, unfinished wall between me and the neighbor. When he turned on the light, it lit up my room, and his snoring made it impossible to sleep. It almost felt like sleeping next to another man And There was no socket near the bed."

"Violetta and her family were like our family away from home. I felt like we've know them forever. The location is amazing. Spectabular views, directly on the best part of the beach in this quaint alcove. Quick 5 minute walk to town and everything you could possibly want. Love the feel of the traditional bungalows. It really added to the laid back vibe of our time away and disconnected."

"The room we stayed in has a private make-shift bath and make-shift kitchenette which adds to the rustic nature of the traditional bungalows. If you like it real rustic but still like having your own bathroom then as it is works nicely. The fixtures work fine but are cracked and old. Along with the tile, they're due for updating those. They are on top of some wonderful fixes and updates as they take care of the damage slowly from a hurricane a couple of years ago."

"Beautiful location right on the beach—it almost feels like a private beach since there’s only one other property along that stretch. The hotel is located on the opposite end of Playa del Amor. The gentleman who checked me in (the owner) is a class act—super nice, helpful, and always ready with local recommendations. If you’re looking for a luxury beach resort, this might not be the place for you. But if your goal is to disconnect, enjoy laid-back beach vibes, and relax in a quiet area while still being close to all the bars and restaurants, this spot is perfect. I will definitely stay here again."
