"The pool was pleasant, and not crowded. As our stay revolved around a fishing trip, we appreciate its proximity to the Fisherman’s Wharf."

"Great value for being steps away from beach, and walking distance to downtown waterfront area. Choice of 3-4 fun beach "shack" restaurants within 500 m of hotel. Industrial area location is a bit intimidating at first, but people are friendly, and I felt safe, despite not seeing another gringo in area for 3 night stay. This beach is popular w/local families, which is great to see. Place is pet-friendly, and our dogs loved it! There is a lighthouse point on the malecon, which gives you a close-up view of gargantuan container ships coming into port."

"Excellent location to be near all the action. It's very quiet during the day but comes alive at night. I was in the Azul room and had access to the rooftop patio and went up to often to relax and for the amazing views. The musicians who do tours stop outside the hotel and play and give their talk. I watched from a balcony and it was really fun. Pablo picked me up from the airport ($600 pesos) and I was glad not to navigate getting there. My room, the shared spaces and the rooftop patio were clean. They is a small shared refrigerator i used, but I was the only person there that weekend. Pablo was incredible giving information and details. He's very kind and his English was great. My Spanish is weak, so I really appreciated his help. I am a solo, female, older traveller and I highly recommend this place."
