"Clean and nice rooms. Good food . Welcoming and friendly staff. Swimming pool is clean and filtered. Beach is very clean however the sea is wavy."

We had a great time enjoying all it has to offer but The mini golf needs maintenance.

I didn't like the standard room but it was changed to a deluxe room for a small fee.

"The location and landscape around is amazing. They upgraded my room which was also very nice. The atmosphere around is amazing, you are in a calm area next to nature and with busy atmosphere if you wish too. The Coral beach is really good, with sand part and colorful fishes. Chekin process is really nice and quick. Myryam is heart! What is also amazing is guest services (Karina is amazing!), Concierge (he really went beyond and showed genuine support and kindness), towel services guys at the beach. In general Front Office experience is great."

Food can be better. The choice is not bad but the taste is not. I have seen better fruit choices in other less expensive hotels in Egypt. Desert station is not bad, but can be offered more tasty choices instead of quantity. Salad station is also not very good due to quality of recepies. Hot dishes the same, the quantity is the there, but barely nothing is really tasty. WCs of the main restaurant is also really in a bad condition, missing basic conditions. House keeping can be better, as when you enter the room (I had two different rooms) you don't have the freshness feeling, room still smells another people). There is no Bath robe in the room which is basic too. Quality of linen is not good, it looks very overused.

Property is managed so well that there is nothing to say negative.

"The indoor pool, kid slides, and Bongo play area were great for our toddler grandson. The breakfast and dinner buffets were good. The food was tasty and plentiful. They had quite a few gluten free options available for our daughter."

The room was dated and needed to be cleaned better. The bathroom doors didn’t lock and one didn’t shut all the way.

"Just generally one of those special places that will stick in my memory forever. A collection of pretty little cabins by the beach surrounded by palm trees with hammocks slung between them for whiling away the days. With only the sounds of birds and waves. Where everyone just hangs out and chats, the staff, the other guests, the extremely interesting and gregarious owner Gregory (no pun intended). I could spend a week here just forgetting about the outside world. The various arrangements (airport transfer, transfer back to town, activities) all went smoothly as well. Which is my no means guaranteed in this part of the world."

Not much but if I went again I'd maybe pay a little more for the room with ensuite shower rather than sharing a communal shower with non locking door. Obviously this is budget accommodation in West Africa so it's of the rustic eco lodge variety rather than the western style hotel room variety in case anyone is expecting that.

"The property offers access to a very nice and almost empty beach and has a large outdoor pool. Staff are nice and welcoming. They allowed us a late checkout. The food is good, although a bit pricey."

It is in Kigamboni, really far away from everything and the location pin on booking is at the wrong place, most likely by intention (we confronted the staff - they all knew and gave erratic responses. They play music on weekends, beware, the volume is obnoxious and no one seems to enjoy that. The rooms are very dated and are not worth the money they charge.

The drinks, especially the wine was very disappointing. I guess I should plan on paying extra for higher quality. Real coffee (not instant) would be a nice alternative. Thanks.

You can feel that the hotel isn’t new, the tv and the air conditioning was very old and sometimes didn’t work but the staff helped us and were very nice.

We received two rooms connected by a door (family room) which was a very good solution for us The staff was great, the food was very good (especially if you are not vegeterian), the place is very clean and well maintended. The resort is great if you have young kids. There are almost no vegeterian food options during the day between the main meals (even the pizza was with meet) Altought according to booking.com comments it seems that no metter which hotel you reserve (bay, mare or palace) you are allowed to use all the facilities...this is not the case...each pool has signs saying that the facility is for a a specific hotel The hotel private beach is good only if you are in the palace hotel...otherwise...you are not getting anything there and also the sea shore is small and not so attractive... You are allowed to order once a week dinner in one of two restaurants located in the resort. I couldn't order anything during our week stay since it was full...

"The hotel reception provided early check-in to the best of their ability. Many breakfast options, including local Chinese, in abundance, and some international cuisine. Beautiful beachfront location, though somewhat overrun with street vendors, though the hotel has no control over this, the beaches are public-access. Convenient location within walking distance of local town center with shops, dining and souvenirs."

The room we booked was misrepresented on Booking.com as having a 'wonderful sea view' when in fact it turned out that this applied to the hotel in general, while our room had garden view. No animation team - beach volley, archery etc. - whatsoever.

"I loved the small details they do for you. The night team does turn down. They leave a little surprise snack for you. Nothing gets even close to their hospitality. Everyone and management is amazing. This is my 2nd time going and I will never stay anywhere else but with them."

"There was a great breakfast - up to two dishes could be ordered for the selected time. The area is very well kept which should be the case for a golf field, that I could see from my window. It was silent all the time."

The only disadvantage was the cold temperature: I could not ejnjoy a table and terrace. But that is not about the great hotel. That is about November in Latvia!

He is very nice and helpful. Good breakfast. Safe area. Big shopping centers at walking distance. Laundry close by. It's about 2.5 km from city center. We enjoyed our stay and consider to stay in future."
