"The best thing of this apartment is the proximity to the beach. It has all the commodities you might need for 2 people, you can even cook there."

The room was rather small and it's confusing how you need to take out the garbage, The bins do not work without a card, the owner didn't explain how to do it. I stayed there with my husband and there were 2 separate mattresses put together, and that was a bit uncomfortable. The owners could also add some beach equipment for their guests, like a chair, towels or something for the wind, since it can get really windy there.

"The apartment (2 bedroom 2 bathroom) was super comfortable, clean and spacious.The location was great - a short walk to all famous places in and around the Old Town. Different supermarkets in area. We didn’t cook but it was handy to buy some snacks/ milk / wine. There are great restaurants in the area . Close to tram/ metro which we didn’t use this time. Very nice to get clean towels and have garbage taken out. Coffee and tea was refilled every morning.Xennia and Rose who work at the reception were very friendly and answered all our questions. We arrived early and were let into apartment immediately. We will be back to this beautiful historic house ."

"Everything was wonderful. The apartment was very clean, and the air was filled with the scent of perfumes and diffusers. There was air purifier, and the owner provided plenty of free water, soft drinks, and snacks. The apartment was fully equipped, connected to the mall, and had its own parking space. It's one of the best options for families. Special thanks to the owner for his warm welcome and hospitality."

Location: far away from major attractions, bad road on the route. No shops around. Credit card payment wasn’t working at the time of checkout. Food and drinks are extremely expensive and too simple (no realistic alternatives since it is in the middle of nowhere; bottle of water 3.5 times more expensive then in the town and 1.75 times more expensive than in the airport). No a/c. No windows in the room. Quite rustic. Hordes of mosquitoes. Very strict check out time at 10:00am.

"Location is a bit out of the way, but the peace and quiet was perfect for me. Right on the beach so could sleep to thesound of the surf on the beach. Mr Franklin was fantastic"

not the properties fault but there was a party across the street that went til 11:00 or 11:30. this would have been fine except they kept the incredibly loud music playing until 1:30 in the morning as they cleaned up.

Swimming pool appeared to be closed at all times despite no warning.

It was very quiet, because we were at the end of the season and there were almost no people there. Very nice terrace. But you need to have something against mosquitoes (we bought in supermarket candles with citrone, which cost nothing and work very well)."

I was reading negative reviews about showers, but when I got there for the first time, I had almost claustrophobia, but to be honest, I also had worse. The water is hot and with strong flowing, so it's not so bad. I don't understand why we got so a lot of keys, special that half of them you don't use. Also, the kitchen has a very basic thing, but it was no sponge for washing dishes, only one knife, no grinder for cheese, and no vine glasses. Ventilation in the kitchen doesn't work. In the room was cold, while outside was warm, which would be nice in summer, but we were in October. So i was always cold inside in the evening and night. But you can't keep everything open, otherwise you will have a lot of mosquitoes. Also, the bed for me was not so comfortable. When my husband was moving, I almost had seasickness. The hotel has they own "parking", but to get there you need to go through some dump, you should to be very careful there, and sign for this place very small so easy to miss it, when just arrived.

There was a restaurant (adjacent property) on the beach, the food was so-so, but it was a great location. The unit was clean, reasonably stocked with what we needed, beds were comfortable. Three bathrooms, two showers. We used the outdoor patio for several meals. The hose by the door to clean our feet. Several nice restaurants a short drive away (Italian was good). Parking was easy. We did a boat/snorkel outing one morning (Nemoz, Ben and Tony were great) and they picked us up right on the dock at the beach. The snorkeling was quite nice. Kayak and other rentals right at the beach."

Only air conditioned in two of the bedrooms. The loft area was blazing hot and there are no windows in the loft that can be opened to create some ventilation (e.g., at night with the provided fan). A portable AC unit or something is needed to cool off this space. The roof leaked, but this was a minor issue. There were no coffee pods or dishwasher pods in the unit, we had to go buy some from the front desk. We checked in slightly after 5pm (lock box), so when we got up in the morning - no coffee! The front desk did not open until 8am? Seriously, we paid a fair amount for the rental and it's ridiculous that 4 or 6 coffee pods (3 bedroom unit) could not have been provided to start with - buy more as needed. Same for the dishwasher (provide one or two pods).

"Our second stay at Mer can story. Fabulous location. Nice spacious rooms, small kitchen area so we could prepare breakfast and eat on our balcony. The staff are kind and helpful. During local power cut this property had a generator. We will choose this hotel again"

There are many great little coffee bars in the areas, best to just go out and get breakfast rather than pre-ordering it... I did not see a single person, so if you looking for casual chats this is not the place.

The cleanliness of the apartment itself was so bad. The sheets weren’t clean, the pillows didn’t have covers, the kitchen top was filled with spilled oil, the couch was half broken, there were mosquitoes everywhere and generally the entire place was very difficult to find comfy

Some basic amenities were missing like hair dryer or lamps on night stands. Too few parking spaces for the number of guests. No AC.

"Great option if you want to stay a little outside of the main hub - it's quiet and the location is beautiful, but I highly recommend having a car to get around. The room was spacious and it was nice to have access to the kitchen and common area. The bathroom is shared but it was never an issue. The sauna was in a separate building but so nice at the end of a day. The breakfast is served at the main cafe in town - it's plentiful and tasty, just keep in mind that you either need to drive there or arrange the shuttle."

Would be be nice to have extra towels for the sauna.

"It was a nice and clean hotel. Hotel is around half an hour walking distance from bascarsija but 5 mins to city center and shopping mall.There are many cafeterias and restaurants around. In Sarajevo there are many hotels in steeps, this hotel is just few steps away from the river crossing in the middle of city so its location is good and not in steep. Room was very clean, bathroom was nice. I came to Sarajevo from Belgrade by bus, so i get off in Istocno bus terminal, then walk like 5 mins to Dobrinja tolleybus station, get on 103, then get off in skenderija station, then walk to hotel like 5 mins. This takes around 40 mins. The airport bus also passes from skenderija. I stayed 2 nights, i enjoyed my stay. They dont give breakfast but there are many options around. If you visit Sarajevo dont forget to try tufahije dessert, it is a very light and delicious dessert."
