Condo Hotels in Mauritania

"I have stayed at this hotel for more than 3 nights, and I'm also a returning guest for the second time. I like Skyline hotel for it's isolated location. It is far from the more bustling areas in Saipan, like Garapan, but closer to the scenic tourist areas like the Banzai cliff monument and Bird island. I also like the management, they remember returning guests and are very accommodating to your needs."

"It's located in a very nice place. 5-10 minutes from the beach, close to supermarket and restaurant. The hotel has very nice territory. The room is cosy and quite comfortable. It was very quiet, because we were at the end of the season and there were almost no people there. Very nice terrace. But you need to have something against mosquitoes (we bought in supermarket candles with citrone, which cost nothing and work very well)."

I was reading negative reviews about showers, but when I got there for the first time, I had almost claustrophobia, but to be honest, I also had worse. The water is hot and with strong flowing, so it's not so bad. I don't understand why we got so a lot of keys, special that half of them you don't use. Also, the kitchen has a very basic thing, but it was no sponge for washing dishes, only one knife, no grinder for cheese, and no vine glasses. Ventilation in the kitchen doesn't work. In the room was cold, while outside was warm, which would be nice in summer, but we were in October. So i was always cold inside in the evening and night. But you can't keep everything open, otherwise you will have a lot of mosquitoes. Also, the bed for me was not so comfortable. When my husband was moving, I almost had seasickness. The hotel has they own "parking", but to get there you need to go through some dump, you should to be very careful there, and sign for this place very small so easy to miss it, when just arrived.

We stayed for 5 nights and someone came to clean the bathrooms and living room area mid-way through our stay which was fantastic. But best of all, the owner Mamo-san was exceptional. My brother’s baby who was traveling with us assisted them to the clinic and even finding medicine. Even after we checked out and found we left something, he was willing to have it shipped to us. He went above and beyond. I was going to give a perfect score just for the place itself but if i could give more for the service, I would!"

"I enjoy staying here for weekend escapes from Muscat. Very good value and wonderfully situated for excellent restaurants. Sur Sea Restaurant (about 100m away) serves some of the best South Asian food I’ve tasted. Highly recommended."

Some basic amenities were missing like hair dryer or lamps on night stands. Too few parking spaces for the number of guests. No AC.

"Great option if you want to stay a little outside of the main hub - it's quiet and the location is beautiful, but I highly recommend having a car to get around. The room was spacious and it was nice to have access to the kitchen and common area. The bathroom is shared but it was never an issue. The sauna was in a separate building but so nice at the end of a day. The breakfast is served at the main cafe in town - it's plentiful and tasty, just keep in mind that you either need to drive there or arrange the shuttle."

Would be be nice to have extra towels for the sauna.

There are many great little coffee bars in the areas, best to just go out and get breakfast rather than pre-ordering it... I did not see a single person, so if you looking for casual chats this is not the place.

"Beautiful territory, nice stuff, excellent location, proximity to the beach. Absolutely beautiful place to stay close to the old port, very convenient for the kids to swim. A bit outside of the city and I loved it! Walking distance to the kite beach or shell cemetery. Enjoyed to be surrounded by so many flowers on the territory. Definitely good value for the money. Book in advance!"

The kids bed wasn’t really comfortable and was somehow uneven.

"Nos gustó lo espacioso, nuevo y limpio que era el apartamento.Vistas desde dormitorio a la Pagoda Shwedagon. Estuvimos 4 noches cómo en casa, limpieza diaria además con gimnasio en el edificio y destacar la amabilidad de la chica de recepción, nos dejó salir más tarde al tener bus nocturno. Es una pena que no vayan los turistas !!!"

"Beautiful original palace from 19th Century, surrounded by an old park and overlooking the lake. The views are stunning. Very good breakfast and delicious food at the restaurant. We also like an allowance for the Aqua Park. Getting there was easy and the hotel has a spacious parking lot."

I'd expect to have a small tea / coffee station at the room.

"Breakfast was more than we expected. The range of cereals, fruit, juices, teas, bread for toast, milk etc was more than we anticipated. The fruit was wonderfully fresh and delicious. There was certainly plenty for all tastes. the location of the breakfast food was easy to access, with a great choice of where to sit and eat both under cover outside or within the dining room."

"The apartment is amazing. It has everything and it's in perfect shape. It's about 7 minutes walk to the lake. A lot of free parking. Anna who welcomed us was very kind and helpful."

It would be nice if it could be added a washing machine.

"St John is a beautiful Island. This condo was clean, comfortable and enjoyed the balcony out back."

We chose not to rent a car and found it difficult to get taxi drivers who wanted to bring us to the end of the street. We tipped well, people would give us their number and then not answer. Was not the condos fault but surprised at the taxi drivers

"Mi experiencia en este hotel fue maravillosa. Está ubicado justo frente a la playa, lo que me permitió disfrutar de amaneceres y atardeceres espectaculares sin tener que moverme demasiado. La zona es muy tranquila, perfecta para descansar y desconectar. La habitación me sorprendió gratamente: además de ser muy bonita y luminosa, resultó muy cómoda y estaba equipada con una cocina que tenía todo lo necesario para preparar mis comidas. La piscina es amplia y agradable, ideal para relajarme después de pasar el día en la playa. Sin duda, lo que más destaco son las vistas increíbles que hicieron mi estancia aún más especial. Recomiendo totalmente este lugar y volvería sin pensarlo."
