"The location was excellent - a few minutes' walk to a very nice, sandy beach that was great for kids (shallow, sandy, calm). There was a restaurant (adjacent property) on the beach, the food was so-so, but it was a great location. The unit was clean, reasonably stocked with what we needed, beds were comfortable. Three bathrooms, two showers. We used the outdoor patio for several meals. The hose by the door to clean our feet. Several nice restaurants a short drive away (Italian was good). Parking was easy. We did a boat/snorkel outing one morning (Nemoz, Ben and Tony were great) and they picked us up right on the dock at the beach. The snorkeling was quite nice. Kayak and other rentals right at the beach."

Only air conditioned in two of the bedrooms. The loft area was blazing hot and there are no windows in the loft that can be opened to create some ventilation (e.g., at night with the provided fan). A portable AC unit or something is needed to cool off this space. The roof leaked, but this was a minor issue. There were no coffee pods or dishwasher pods in the unit, we had to go buy some from the front desk. We checked in slightly after 5pm (lock box), so when we got up in the morning - no coffee! The front desk did not open until 8am? Seriously, we paid a fair amount for the rental and it's ridiculous that 4 or 6 coffee pods (3 bedroom unit) could not have been provided to start with - buy more as needed. Same for the dishwasher (provide one or two pods).

Far from airport but no complaints

"The location on the river was beautiful. Staff helped to set up activities. The room was huge with a nice bath and balcony overlooking the water. The rooftop and resturaunt are a great spot for sunset views."

I think as it is a new hotel they are working on getting things going more. There is no spa, but you can get a massage done in your room. For a hotel of that pricepoint, having things like handsoap, robes and slippers would be fitting.

Have no complaints

"One gets into the apartment via a fence on the left of the building shown in the photo. One has to call the host, and they open the main door and the room door, where you can then pick up keys on a desk. The host was super responsive, available and nice, and even let us check-out one hour later, which was wonderful. The apartment itself was quite nice, with all the facilities we needed, and the location was incredible, just some minutes away from the Christmas market square. We even managed to use the TV to watch a series."

It is a bit complicated to shower without water going beyond the shower limits, but it was no big deal.

There was a persistent unpleasant odor in the building; it was easy to tell that the facility was old and in need of renovation. The reception staff needed to provide more information to arriving guests. The building's architecture could seem confusing at first glance. The price-performance ratio was unsatisfactory.

They also offer luggage storage, which is a great plus. Just outside the apartment, there’s a coffee shop that also serves ice cream and baked goods, making it very convenient."

There was some noise that could be heard from our room, which occasionally disrupted the otherwise quiet ambiance.

"The best thing of this apartment is the proximity to the beach. It has all the commodities you might need for 2 people, you can even cook there."

The room was rather small and it's confusing how you need to take out the garbage, The bins do not work without a card, the owner didn't explain how to do it. I stayed there with my husband and there were 2 separate mattresses put together, and that was a bit uncomfortable. The owners could also add some beach equipment for their guests, like a chair, towels or something for the wind, since it can get really windy there.

The pools are a little small but the resort isn’t too big so they were not overly busy, they have cushions on the sun lounges so they were quite uncomfortable.

The road leading to this accommodation is not asphalt, so driving or walking can be challenging.

Not a dislike but lack of a fridge and safe. Especially a safe would be helpful in the room. It was also strange to not have a blanket/duvet ready on the bed. Upon request, a blanket was brought.

"Quiet, right in the middle of nature. Rooms are really nice and the people working there are great. There's a place to walk around, super peaceful. If you are into local gastronomy you are a few minutes away from many local pupusas spots in Los Planes de Renderos. Can’t beat that."

This place is very colonial, don’t expect elevators!

"Mr. Keith was knowledgeable and attentive. The location of the property was perfect. It was so easy to get to all the attractions, beaches, or falls was right there. Honestly, I wish if I could spend another week. The community was so peaceful day and night. I love it here, too bad nothing last forever I really do miss there."

The first house broken refrigerator, but Mr. Keith was able to solve the problem asap.

"We only stayed one night on our way to Rivas. It was easy to find the cabins, and check-in was quick. Cabins are well equipped, and the bed was comfortable. It's a beautiful location!"
