Bed and Breakfasts in the Dominican Republic

"Exceptional hospitality. Rose - property manager was incredibly helpful, friendly and warm. She made our stay special. Everything was excellent - clean, comfortable, spacious, well equipped kitchen, beach equipment -chairs, fins, snorkel ect. Calm environment with lots of private space. Upon entering main guest space smelled wonderful scent that made the experience whole. Thank you Rose"

I think it's better and helpful for the future, to change the towels, because they are old even clean, they look little black and not white.

"Gorgeous view from the apartment! There's a big window showing the beautiful mountains below. Beautiful interior design throughout!! The host was also very friendly 🌷 Buiilt as a compact studio apartment with a large bed, all beautifully designed. Next door there's a room that serves as a small kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave and capsule coffee machine. Lots of attractions nearby - Nimrod Fortress, Hermon Mountain site and cable car, Tel Dan, Ghajar village and Banias National Park."

Fortunately we travelled with a 4x4 wheel drive car -- a must-have to negotiate the steep roads in the village.

Unfortunately there was a power cut during our stay and in the absence of a generator we were left with no light or water for the evening.

Directions or signage at the Villa to direct (or even identify this place). Owner email instructions weren't sent until morning of and I didn't get it because of traveling by bus to town.

"Our stay at Sorento Sur Mer was simply unforgettable. The views are absolutely stunning—every glance feels like a postcard. The infinity pool is pure bliss, and the spacious, spotless rooms with a terrace overlooking the ocean made it hard to leave. Breakfast was served outdoors and left nothing to be desired. The hosts and staff were warm, genuinely caring, and always ready to help, with excellent communication from start to finish. A perfect blend of comfort, beauty, and heartfelt hospitality."

Power cuts in the city make rooms warm, there is loud music from the bar next door on Fridays and Saturdays.

Seating at the coffee shop could use a good cleaning but the coffee shop itself is great. Little tough to find the property the first time.

"Had to call for the airport shuttle which cost 5 usd which is $1000 gt dollors which we had booked with the room . NO BREAKFAST WAS AVAILABLE .you could take a bus right in front of the apartment to go town which is cheaper at 100 gt dollors (than calling a taxi which will cost you 900 gt dollors )one way ) Over all my stay was good rain fall all day which made our first day a challenge but was ok as we did go to town and walked around we asked question people was very helpfull .we took the bus back on regent street going to (camville on garnet street )which drop us back in front of the apartment ."

"I arrived late and the taxi driver was unsure of the location. However the owner ( manager) came out to meet us and showed me the cabin, there was a language barrier as I don’t speak French, however with the help of google translate this was overcome. The breakfast was good and plentiful with egg, dates, yoghurt and bread with a juice and coffee. The owner was very helpful despite the language, the cabins are functional and good fun and first thing I walked (30 seconds) to the beautiful beach at sunrise!"

Room was very small. Bed was very uncomfortable.

"The stay felt incredibly peaceful, surrounded by mountains and fresh air. The trekking routes were scenic and gave a real sense of connection with nature."

It's nice to have bedside lamp for a softer light at night.

"I loved the modern style, it felt sleek, comfortable, and it was thoughtfully designed."

Everything was great, The only small suggestion would be to offer either thicker blankets or a cozy duvet for extra comfort for those who likes to sleep with the air conditioning but gets super cold easily 😅

"We traveled on our bicycles and Highland lodge was the perfect stop between Afriski and Mokhontlong. Rooms were very large and so clean. Bed was very large and comfy. Staff was nice, friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend 👌🏼"

"it's a super nice hostel with a well equipped kitchen, big bathroom, and nice garden. the view of the mountains is amazing and there's plenty of nearby gardens around with fruit trees and herbs."

Location far from everything but Nubian village. Taxis often want more due to difficult roads. No WiFi in the rooms.
