Bed and Breakfasts in the U.S. Virgin Islands

"Good and quiet location. Positive was parking in the yard, rooms were spacious."

The only downside was that the restaurant was closed due to the holidays.

"Great views, right on the water. Loved the subtle morning music with breakfast! Hosts were great, were very helpful even though they were a bit under the weather."

Bed not as comfortable as we hoped

"Breakfast was more than a simple continental breakfast. You have choice of eggs, homemade yogurt, cereals and freshly baked baguette. Dinner was also good with local cooking. Just 10 mins drive from the airport. Isabelle is warm and we enjoy the company of the dogs :-)"

"Lovely property and warm hospitality from Veron and Melania. We were only able to stay for a few hours during a New Year’s Eve layover, but we had a wonderful evening with the hosts and other travelers. We hope to be back in the near future."

"Felt like staying at someone else's house, after a long walk through open fields, narrow passageways and poor lighting at night, it felt rewarding to stay at. The staff were very nice."

Felt watched quite a lot

"I arrived late and the taxi driver was unsure of the location. However the owner ( manager) came out to meet us and showed me the cabin, there was a language barrier as I don’t speak French, however with the help of google translate this was overcome. The breakfast was good and plentiful with egg, dates, yoghurt and bread with a juice and coffee. The owner was very helpful despite the language, the cabins are functional and good fun and first thing I walked (30 seconds) to the beautiful beach at sunrise!"

"The Manager handled EVERYTHING for me from car rental, directions to my many inquiries, set up a massage appointment for me...ECT, from the moment I landed on the island until I got on the plane to leave 🏝️I could not have been happier than with these people & this location! Thank you so very much Kurtz ... It was perfect for exploring the East side beaches and restaurants of the Island from & and just few minutes from the airport but you never heard planes flying over that area!. Car Needed!!"

"nice b&b in a village close to York next to a bus stop which links York with the moors countryside and coastal towns. convenient to visit both York and Whitby/Scarborough especially if you have a car. feels like a home than a hotel."

the spiral stairs can be an issue if you have a large piece of luggage.

"We traveled on our bicycles and Highland lodge was the perfect stop between Afriski and Mokhontlong. Rooms were very large and so clean. Bed was very large and comfy. Staff was nice, friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend 👌🏼"

We would have enjoyed a desert after our dinner but it was not so important.

I think it's better and helpful for the future, to change the towels, because they are old even clean, they look little black and not white.

"This was such a wonderful place amidst such beautiful surroundings. The perfect place to stay if you want to do some hikes in the area. Marco and the staff were so kind and accommodating and always available. They really make you feel at home. The room was clean and quiet And there was free parking if you have a car. I would highly recommend if you are planning to visit Mavrovo."

I found the dinner to be very expensive for what it was and they did not say the cost up front which was a dissapointment

"The lady of the house is sweet and caring and makes you feel at home, languages Armenian, Russian and French. Every day she makes breakfast for you, and opens the door when you get home (no key) .She makes a great omelet! It is fun conversation with her, and she respects your private space and time also. The rooms are simple and comely, the big room has a closet, a mirror and a desk, the bed is comfortable and there is a sunny balcony. You feel at home. The area is quiet and you hear almost no cars during the day, during the night it is silent. Shower has lots of hot water when needed. Towels are provided. It's ten minutes walk from the opera!"

Curtains are not blocking light, it could matter if you need sleep during the day. It's an old appartment block so sometimes you might hear neighbors' sounds above.

"The Arjun bed and breakfast was amazing place to stay, this is best value for money they are charging, its their family maintained house, specially the lady was so kind and nice in conversation, i recommend this place, plus you also get breakfast on top of that. Its nothing to say everything was great

"Our stay at La Atrevida was truly wonderful. The hotel is charming, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. The rooms are stylish and very comfortable, and everything is always spotless and well organized. Andrea and Mario are incredibly attentive and present throughout the stay, taking care of every detail with genuine warmth and dedication. Their hospitality made the experience even more special. "Location is ok, 10 minutes walk to Somerset MRT station. Cleanness was ok, not spotted but acceptable. Air conditioning worked well. As the cheapest private room with private bathroom in the whole city this place is worth its price. Good contact with owner via whatsapp. I would come back."

The owner does not treat this place like a hotel, so for example, toilet paper is replaced by the guests themselves.

"Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Kleines praktisches Zimmer mit kleinem Badezimmer(chen) zu einem angemessenen Preis. Bei Buchung wurde auf das kleine Badezimmer hingewiesen. Sehr bequemes Bett mit offenen Bettende und guter Matratze. Sehr ruhig. Frühstück mit verschiedener Wurst, Käse und Marmeladen und Gebäck. Vermieterin sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich."

Das kleine Badezimmer(chen) ist wirklich sehr klein. Ist aber kein Kritikpunkt, weil es wurde bei der Buchung schon drauf hingewiesen.

Unfortunately there was a power cut during our stay and in the absence of a generator we were left with no light or water for the evening.
