"Generally clean environment. Inside the room, there was A/C and a very good large shower. Common spaces included a sort of balcony with a drying rack."

The fridge was located in the common corridor (it had separate shelves assigned to the different rooms). There were lots of mosquitoes, but A/C made it manageable.

"Freda was very nice and helpful, providing us with a map of the sights to see in town, and her helpful assistant/dog Bella was also extremely welcoming! The room was nice, with a small kitchenette and some food/drinks provided, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Also a great location, just a short walk from everything."

"Nabil is a fantastic host and very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He had great recommendations and was able to organise a taxi for me to go to various locations. The room was comfortable and the breakfast in the morning, which omes included in the cost, was amazing!"

"Patricia met us when we arrived and gave us the lowdown on how to enter our room and gave us some suggestions for places to eat, which were delicious! The room was cozy and nicer than I had imagined since it was in the basement. All in all, I would recommend this room to friends."

There was nothing we didn't like. If it had been raining, we might have a different opinion!

As all activities and transport are organized by the host, I sometimes had to wait quite long time for the driver to arrive. This was not the hosts fault, but it is important to know when planning a trip to Tanna.

"The view is great. Nice pool. Location is like 5min away of the beach. Very quiet neighborhood."

No filters for the coffee maker. The streets are in bad shape once you drop off the Main Street to get to the house.

"Chris and Saba's home is lovely, we were so comfortable during our brief stay. Chris's garden is beautiful respite from the bustle of Mekele, and both he and Saba were a wealth of knowledge for trip planning. The local honey and fresh guava smoothie at breakfast were an extra treat."

missing toilet paper :). We had to turn off the fridge for it was too noisy during the night

"The personal attention of the wonderful owner stood out for us. He went out of his way to collect us from the ferry and take us to the airport the next day. He provided us with a fabulous breakfast too - the best we’ve had over our whole trip. We loved meeting him and talking to him."

"Great location 3 minutes walk from the main square, a beautiful cave room and a hotel with a character. Stunning views from the restaurant, very helpful and professional receptionist (Fifi). Breakfast with a wide choice of food."

"This was such a great space and I had a few more days to book an Uvita and re-booked here. Awesome atmosphere, fair price, quiet, and all the workers and people there were super kind. Great space ! Loved that each room had a back patio and only 4 to a room was really nice too. Thank you!"

"Very friendly, professional and personal service. Room and facilities were very clean and well maintained. Garden and surroundings are kept neat and clean daily. Ideally located to visit tourist attractions within reasonable radius. Piggs Peak town 1km away and provides all necessary shops, fuel stations and off course a KFC."

"Very close to the North Cliffs and beach access, but the rooms were tucked in and private, very peaceful and close to all amenities along the cliffs."

Nothing wrong with the property itself, some loud construction next door but they were building the house very fast so it shouldn't be too much of a problem in the future.

The apartment was renovated and clean, the kitchen is well-equipped, the security is very high and the personnel was also super amicable!!🤍🤍🤍 It's quiet and is situated in a safe area - you can walk alone even at night there. The rooms are quite spacious and have enough sockets and furniture. There are a couple of stores around and even a local eatery with tasty food. The owner was ready to help with any questions and was super friendly too. Totally recommended!! 🫶🏼💕"

Very small single room. Shady pricing for airport transfers: I was offered a ride from the airport for K70, my friend (she didn't stay there but was inquiring about their rooms) got an offer for K50 for the same transfer, I was offered a ride to the airport for K50. A bit further away from town (20-25 min walk). "Loud" bed.
