"This place was filled with vintage charm. It created a nostalgic vibe that for me elevated my vacation. It clearly had once been grandiose, and although it's greatness had faded, it was still stately. I loved the terraces, huge pool, and had a nearby beach to myself. It felt like a movie set from the 60s! It would be the perfect setting for a film. If you enjoy kitsch and want to be out of the fray, book this place. It is a short distance to a fabulous restaurant, Little, and a small grocery store/deli/bakery. Warick Parish is a short bus ride to Hamilton. The owner, Brenda, was raised here and is a font of knowledge about this hotel's history."

I had difficulty locating the guesthouse. I suggest you have a signpost at the entrance of the Junction.

"Summer Lodge is really nice hotel with traditional Greek ornaments. Very clean, very tidy. They have really comfortable beds. Mr Vasilios, Mrs Rebeka and Mrs Athena, our hosts, helped us to find rent a car and with the instructions what to visit on the Crete."

"Super clean, really nice staff, very friendly and accommodating (they held our bags for us in the morning and let us charge our phones after check out in the front lobby). Bath tub and shower were really nice too, very spacious! And the balcony was cute. Hotel is very close to the lake side pier so was good for a walk after dinner. Lots of bike rental shops in the area and really close to the tourist shuttle stop for Shuishe Visitor Center. Note that the front desk closes at 18:00 so it’s important to be there before it closes."

The breakfast was quite simple but still appreciated.

They took me into town and to the airport, and constantly checked in to see if I needed anything. The views are stunning, and the facilities are more than enough. Towels are provided, the shower is shared but it's very clean and the water is nice and hot especially during winter. There's a small TV in the room as well."

Can be stuffy as it's during the winter, the windows was not allowed to be open due to the heater.

"The owners were right next door and very accomodating. They were very nice people.The apartment was clean and everything was provided. The air conditioner worked well and there was a little outdoor porch with a breeze. There was also a washing machine in the apartment."

Thibaud is rather isolated and buses are few and far between.

Not to far from a busy road, sometimes you can hear the traffic but not when you’re on the beach or by the pool.

"This is the best place where you can stay! It's clean and comfortable and maybe not in the very center town but you meet a very nice , friendly and lovely family. In Italy we say "you find a friend, you find a treasure", this is what you're going to live."
