"Loved everything about our stay at the Holiday Inn Merida. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was incredible. We travelled with 2 little ones and they had a blast at the swimming pool. The breakfast staff were so friendly and it was just so nice to see so many smiles. Our rooms were nice and clean, we had hot water, everything worked as it should and the location is amazing."

"Would have loved to have a mini fridge to put our drinks in, but other than that no complaints!"

"Absolutely beautiful grounds and pool and room… Just top-notch. We also liked the very low-key vibe and the attentiveness of the staff. The room was spectacular."

"Really the only drawback was that it was a half hour away from Merida."

"The location and ambience were very nice and staff was helpful in making reservations in nearby restaurants. The a la carte items offered for breakfast, albeit expensive, were very good."
Negative point:
"Unlike upon checkin, the omnipresent staff did not make any efforts to help with the luggage during checkout. They just looked away. Likewise, the staff was ignorant of guests relaxing in the beautiful courtyard by starting to sand one of the doors. This made us head out earlier than we had planned."
