"The room was large, comfortable, and a clothes washer was available in the room! The key was in the room door lock when we arrived, but we didn't know that, so we waited until the property owner showed up on schedule!"
"It would be nice to have english language instructions for the washer. We sort of guessed how to used it from the pictures on the dials."
"There was no breakfast. There was a kitchenette, if you wanted to cook. There was a washing machine for clothes. There was laundry powder provided. The ability to wash a few items of clothing was valuable to me. There were one of two decent restaurants in town and a grocery store."
"There were no directions for the washing machine and when asked, the host couldn't help. The washing machine was very small. Had to put clothes on racks to dry. Also, there was no sign to indicate we had arrived at the right place. It was confusing at first. We weren't even sure which door to knock on."

"The unit was so beautiful and homely! It was so well equipped with everything you needed. There was a gazebo in the backyard (for use) and extensions happening with a pizza oven & BBQ. Owner was lovely and 2 dogs gorgeous."

"We recently stayed at Eystri-Solheimar for 3 nights. The host Einar and his staff were extremely helpful, attentive, the room was very clean and spaceious, very quiet. The breakfast/coffee was nice. We would stay there again next time if we go. Btw, he can speak Chinese! We wish that we could have seen the northern lights, but that's not Einar's fault, he then sent me some spectacular pictures from his phone as a compensation. :)"
"Space enough for 3 luggage, shared kitchen is good to use and the goose and sheep and dogs and cats are just lovely and the sunrise and sunset view are definitely the highlight of this guesthouse!"
