"Great location. Super friendly staff who provided a warm welcome and farewell. Since there were only a few guests, they upgraded our rooms to exceptional ones. Excellent activities and dinner. Cozy fireplace at night. A fantastic experience. Definitely worth repeating and highly recommended."

Heating water in shower/kitchen issue was there, delayed our departure. Salt and pepper were not there, more coffee/tea/sugar etc would be better.

"ВСЕ!!! 10 дней, которые мы были в отеле, были окружены заботой, теплом, вниманием и помощью персонала по всем вопросам (включая практически невозможный обмен авиабилетов из Янгона в Бангкок не выходя из отеля) Пляж - просто прекрасен. Да, на нем нет удобств (кроме лежаков около отеля), но и отдыхающих, в общем-то, тоже нет. И 1,5 км пустынного пляжа в твоем полном распоряжении каждый день - что может быть лучше... Еда в ресторане не блещет разнообразием, но ОЧЕНЬ достойная. Морепродукты, естественно, свежайшие, каждый день! Отдельные слова благодарности хозяйке! За почти 30 лет путешествий по миру было очень немного мест, где хозяин лично встречает и провожает гостей, и каждый день интересуется настроением и возможными вопросами к проживанию. Если будет возможность - непременно стоит сюда приехать!!!"

"It was the perfect little nook in the forest! It was warm, cozy and had the basic stuff I needed. There are really smart things inside the house, my personal favorite is the build in drying rack above the heater and also the ceiling warmer in the toilet haha Forest, birds, fresh air, skiing what else do you need? But I also loved the playgrounds and benches on the property, felt like I’m at summer camp with family and friends ☺️"

One tiny confusion of mine was that on booking it said ski in and ski out but it wasn’t like that. But it’s spring so probably that’s why. If you come around this time be prepared to walk. Which is a really nice walk tho.

"We loved how close it is to nature — the view is stunning and the interiors are beautifully designed. The atmosphere feels so natural and relaxing. The staff were very helpful, especially the caretakers assigned near our room who were always attentive and kind. We also loved the common area in the middle of the property, which has a nice seating space. My daughter really enjoyed the toys and activity games available for free use."

The bathroom, particularly the toilet area, is quite outdated. For me, it feels unhygienic since its design as old and also no bidet for washing. It also had an unpleasant smell, likely because of its condition.

"Wow! What a gem of a stay! Lovely rooms at a value price. Food and alcohol sold. Plenty toilets and showers. An amazing waterfall next door, which you pass driving in and out of the property. And a 45ºC hot pool. Yes, there is a hot spring pool included that overlooks everthing!!!"

Tough to get to with small car through long gravel road.

"Beautiful location minutes away from the Serra Malagueta Natural Park. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner was delicious. King Suite was worth the extra stairs. We will definitely be recommending it to others."

Since it is located next to the road, we did have some loud cars but we still slept amazing.

"Breakfast was good and dinner even better. The location was perfect and so were the mountain views from our rooms! Hospitality was excellent, the receptionists came with their car to escort us to the hotel and back outside near the police station. Both chefs/waiters assisted us by allowing us to use their mobile phones since we did not have any SIM cards to make calls. At dinner, we were given complimentary dessert and even complimentary delicious ice cream whilst waiting for our taxi."

"One of the best places you’ll ever stay at ! The grounds are beautifully lush, the little house is super comfortable with its own patio and outdoor kitchen, and the pool is amazing. They also have a shared full kitchen which guests can use, as well as excellent coffee available 24/7. It’s a family run business with wonderful staff. I’m a bad sleeper and really appreciated that the room is quiet at night (despite being in the jungle), dark when you close the shades, and nice and cool with AC and a fan. The location is central to explore the island, but you do need a car (and reserve it well in advance : all car rental services were sold out for our stay during carnival…)."

The rooms were a little small. But that’s to be expected in this type of an accommodation.

"We truly enjoyed the dedicated and genuine hospitality of the entire staff and the beautifully lay out of the property, made one feel not only so welcome, but relaxed by knowing one would be taking good care of. The well equipped rooms in the form of a safari camp made the stay feel like one was participating in a updated version of the legendary book Out of Africa, comfortable and yet even cozy one may say. And then to top it all, we were thrilled by the way the drives were expertly arranged to maximized the day (that somehow always flew by) with such a friendly and knowledgeable driver (we got Dennis) who not only was absolutely great with the making the search for wildlife a memorable experience, but also created a safe environment for us to relax and enjoy the admirable natural beauty of Kenya's Masai Mara!"

Leaving for sure, was the main thing we did not like, However, we encountered discrepancies between the meals that were offered in the neatly described menus and the food items that were served. Somehow there was a disconnect in communication somewhere that made the gracious wait staff seem not to be aware and only noticed it after after it was brought to their attention. The items that were missing at the different meals (this happened more than once) were eventually addressed, yet such a discrepancy or lapse in service, really felt out of place when compared to the overall attentive experience we received throughout our stay.

"The location is fantastic - right on the beach. The accommodation had all the basic amenities. Felt safe with good security. We were able to meet our basic daily food needs such as bread (pao), fish and prawns through local traders visiting the lodge. Staff were always polite and friendly."

No internet connection because of a cyclone a few weeks earlier. Had to buy our own airtime. A portable fan in the living room would be great.

Some of the service providers attitude especially at the front desk in the kitchen. The lady was not kind at all and she behaved in haughty manner, just to hand over a bill. When I took dinner I asked for the bill with the man but it didn’t come, in the following morning I had to check out. I went to the reception in the morning and said I have a bill. The lady at the reception called to ask for my bill and it didn’t come. I went back in my room to take my luggage then the lady in the kitchen wanted me to handle the bill I couldn’t I had things in all my hands then I asked my daughter to take the bill! I found this attitude really insulting to me. Real lack of respect! Anyway…

The bathroom, particularly the toilet area, is quite outdated. For me, it feels unhygienic since its design as old and also no bidet for washing. It also had an unpleasant smell, likely because of its condition.

"Friendly supportive staff. The log cabin accommodation was warm, comfortable and beautifully unique in the attention to detail, artistically designed carved wood, stretched leather, fur chair and stone framed mirror. Husky ride was fun learning about their training from friendly staff. Highly recommended for a comfortable and unique experience."

Couldn’t improve this stay it was excellent. Just wish I could have stayed longer.

"Wonderful location, right by the beach. We booked the bungalow and it was fabulous. Rustic and comfortable. The outdoor shower is marvelous. The overall feel is calm and tranquil. Definitely our preference over staying in the city. Staff and service were fantastic."

Rather than the buffet dinner, we ordered off the menu as I wanted to try the seafood. Had prawns the first night and they were so good. I ordered lobster the 2nd night and prawns again the 3rd night and they were just OK. Different chefs. Also to note, there are tons of mosquitos at night if eating on the outdoor deck so suggest putting on repellent or covering up.

Extremely overpriced!!! There are many camps like this in Nuweiba at 1/5(!) of the price. Also you pay here for everything extra. WiFi was terrible, didn't work almost anywhere except near the reception.

"It was quiet and safe. Away from the bustle of the city. Excellent bird watching."

To get to anything for excursions or dinner took a little bit of time. Taxis and Ubers were more costly.

They all knew our names, asked us if we needed anything every time we saw them, and were always willing to go above and beyond. -Hiking trails: such great views and fun exploration (they have complimentary bug oil everywhere, definitely use it before hitting the trails!). -Food: Everything we had was excellent, especially Slate on Saturdays/Wednesdays. -Room: This was the first stay in Belize we had with really hot water and water pressure, the water was drinkable, and the fireplace with complimentary wood was so nice."

The road in and out can be a little rough after raining since it's all red clay. We got stuck while leaving after check out but they had a tractor there and pulled us out within minutes of calling, then followed us out with the tractor just in case.
