Welcome to Monte Verde... We are a small, family-friendly accommodations nestled 5 minutes drive from the capital of our wonderful island of Madeira. This accommodations, with 20 private relaxation sanctuaryces that can accommodate from 1 to 5 people, each one furnished appropriately as you can see in the photos to receive you besides having a kettle, a sofa and TV with channels in several languages and free internet in each room with great signal. And for the lodgings with private balcony, we have a table with two chairs to take advantage of the visual escape that can be to the gardens of the inn as to the Atlantic Ocean. We provide daily room neating service with the exception of December 25th, where bed linen is changed ereally 5 days and towels estrongly 2 days. In case of damage to anything in the room such as furniture, bed linen or towels will be charged an extra value for it. We have an outdoor heated pool with solarium around it, where we provide towels upon request of the customer at reception . A glassed lounge with garden vista where we serve a varied breakfast formula buffet. We jointly have a games room and a reading room, as well as a room where you can leave your luggage if you need to arrive before check in time or leave the address after check out time. We have at your disposal the laundry service for 15 euros per bag that you can find in your room in the office. We have private underground secure garage with the cost of 5 euros per day that must be booked in advance. The reception is open until six o'clock in the afternoon, after this time you can count on self check in. At the reception we are always available to help you in what you need, where we have contacts for car rental, taxis , tours throughout the island. Etc After this same closing time, you can contact the same way by email or to the emergency number that is at the reception. When you get to the green alpine setting, you find the main gate closed but unlocked that just open and enter and go forward to the reception. For greater security for all, we have available a video surveillance service 24 hours a day. "Superb small hotel, very well located with good parking options during my stay. (Hotel also offers own parking for a very decent sum). Nice breakfast and breakfast room, a sunny covered terrace with a glimpse of the ocean. All facilities are nice, and the balcony with seaview, priceless. Lovely, lovely hosts"

"We have a really cozy room and a really nice stay, with a very helpful staff ( Luis and whoever is under his management) that made sure to look after our needs. Quite the place, with a soul and spirit. I would recommend it, as what you see is literally what you get. Try it out if you are on a budget, and would like to avoid the giant resort and the over-the-top hotels. We quite rested and found quite some peace."
"Quite hard to express any negatives on our side, as we truly enjoyed the location and the facilities. Don't set high expectations, but you will genuinely be surprised by the standard and dedication of the staff. Enjoy it :)"

"The quality of the Breakfast could be improved. The Coffee Machine, fruit salad, eggs and bacon were OK, but the baked beans and fresh bread ran out very early. The rest were sweet cakes and pies, whuch is OK for some people, but the was no fresh milk. A lot of the food was gone by 9 am. perhaps because there was a group of young people who came and put mountains of food on their plates, without eating it all up. Some sort of rationing might have been used !!! And Finally, I think people should be advised that there is a steep climb from the main road Estrada Monumental. It took me a few days to get used to it !!!"

"Good value. Near to bus stops. The room was cleaned every day except Sunday. Very good effort of the owner to provide a simple breakfasr with cofffee n juices, even a xmas log ake on xmas day. Check in staff are helpful when i needed assistance. Room is not smalll and with a good sized balcony."
