"Breakfast was great, lots of options The property was beautiful Only a quick train ride into Lisbon The property is great if you are a big group...lots of room for kids to run around!"
"The pool could be heated!!"
"It was a quiet and wonderful pension-like hotel. The pool, though not too small, was available for use at any time. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We were also able to use the barbecue facilities if we wanted. Our family enjoyed a wonderful dinner using the shared kitchen. The staff were also very friendly."
"For second-floor accommodations, access is via stairs. There's no elevator, so you'll need to carry your luggage upstairs yourself. For access to nearby historic sites or downtown, Uber is more convenient than public transportation."
"Beautiful property, stunning old charm. Pool and outdoor kitchen were wonderful. Breakfast was basic but good. Rooms were beautiful. No TV or AC but that was not a problem at all for us. Check in was great, so attentive and welcoming!!"

"Host kind, helpful re: local sites, restaurants. Room clean, comfortable beds. Community kitchen, outdoor grill. Nicely landscaped grounds a peaceful respite, outdoor sitting areas."
"In downstairs room hear guests above walking, muffled talking. No other guests until our last night. Unable to control heat as thermostat broke during our stay. Repairman ordered part. Very warm at night (Feb). Host did her best to accommodate."
"Charming and comfortable option near Sintra and Lisbon attractions, great customer service and breakfast, nicely decorated and family-run, a nice get-away as it is very quiet and private. Would stay here again!"

"Gorgeous rooms Spacious. Lovely pool to cool off on hot days. Host Leo was exceptional! She was very helpful and full of great information. Though there were some other guests, I hardly saw them which made the place feel very exclusive. Will definitely come back"

"Lovely to have a room opening straight outside the pool. Situated in a lovely renovated stable block set in a well kept garden, close to the main house where the owner lived. She was very helpful & attentive & provided advice to us of the transport in the area. Each morning she gave us an exceptional breakfast'"
"Nothing, it was so good."
"After some time in Lisbon and then seeing the crowds of Sintra, we enjoyed being away from the craziness of the touristy sights. This place was great for a nice time out resting, enjoying the pool, and admiring the little orchard in the back. Leonore was a very helpful host and served the best morning coffee in the village :)"

"This was one of the top locations my wife and I stayed at when touring around Portugal ! A bit of a challenge on the GPS if arriving after dark but no regrets whatsoever! Our Hosts were exceptional ! This location was quiet and safe and our room (more like a small cottage!?) was HUGE as was the bathroom. (Stand firm, exceptional water pressure in the shower!) Nice farm like grounds and a nice pool just outside (was glad we visited off season since no pool activity) Short walk through a beautiful small garden area for a very nice continental breakfast. Easy very short car ride to the "end of the line" train station so a nice safe and easy commuter train ride in to Lisbon and back! (Do Not Drive to Lisbon if you can avoid it!) Entry to the property has a secure 'entry code' to open the Gates to drive in. Very quiet and safe area. Hands down we would stay here again!"
"That we didn't stay here longer!"

"We were on the Fishermen's trail and only stayed one night and did not really use all the amenities. It's a lovely place and I can highly recommend it. Lovely staff. They also gave us a room upgrade with an amazing view."

"Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

"super nice hosts, who drove us into town. possibility of hanging out in the main building - with a reading corner and a bar - in the evening, which was very cozy. comfortable bed, hot showers, good breakfast."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"

"We did the Camino and it was right on the Camino trail. Payment is via cash only. The rooms are small but adequate for just one night. Nice place as it has its own vineyard. The caretaker is also very friendly. They provide a pilgrim dinner for 16 euro but we did not do that as we do not eat a heavy dinner. It did look good though."
"This place is so charming and having a kitchen and fireplace made it very nice."

"The hosts were great. A family-run guest house, good value for money and a great way to experience the local culture. The nearby restaurant they recommended was a real gem."
