"The rooms are large and comfortable. The grounds are very well kept, and the pool area is wonderful. This was my third time at this property in ten years. The service was excellent."

The hotel organizes events on the grounds that go until midnight. The first night we were there, it was very loud and the noise was right in our room. The third night, there was another one. It takes away from the calm of the property to host these types of events, even on weeknights. This fact makes me reconsider staying here again because it spoils having a quiet evening in the room or hotel.

The curtains didn’t open and close fully and bathtub stopper didn’t work. Ongoing pool & restaurant construction with no prior notification.

We stayed two nights in overwater bungalow, lively, then two nights in beach bungalow, also lovely, except no coffee maker, only tea. When we asked if we could get a coffee maker, we're toldtbeyareonly available to over water bungalows. 😪

"A great hotel, more suitable for families but me and my boyfriend enjoyed every moment. Great selection of food and the hotel has so many things to do that you don’t need to leave."

You can feel that the hotel isn’t new, the tv and the air conditioning was very old and sometimes didn’t work but the staff helped us and were very nice.

We had a great time enjoying all it has to offer but The mini golf needs maintenance.

No taxis nearby and no shuttle service to/from the train station. Their shuttle was in the shop the week I was staying there.

Checking in here feels less like arriving at a hotel and more like being invited into someone's cherished (and very luxurious) ancestral home. Breakfast was cooked-to-order in the courtyard. We had the western option - shakshuka, smashed avocado on toast, simple and well done. There were cultural advisors on hand to craft personalised itineraries. We did the Journey of the Gods trishaw tour and were amazed by the diversity of local religious traditions. Overall, great experience. Would definitely stay again."

"My wife and I waited 15 years to go to the jade Mountain on St. Lucia. Who knew I would like windjammer much better. The rooms were fantastic, but Marcus and Bridget made everything worthwhile. I would stay here again 100 times before I stated any other hotel on island."

"Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly (one guy at the desk was very rude). Nice pool. Nice stretch of water to swim in, with a pebble/sand area near the ocean entrance. Comfortable room (except they cut the power to air conditioning when you leave the room)."

The drinks, especially the wine was very disappointing. I guess I should plan on paying extra for higher quality. Real coffee (not instant) would be a nice alternative. Thanks.

"The indoor pool, kid slides, and Bongo play area were great for our toddler grandson. The breakfast and dinner buffets were good. The food was tasty and plentiful. They had quite a few gluten free options available for our daughter."

The room was dated and needed to be cleaned better. The bathroom doors didn’t lock and one didn’t shut all the way.

The pillow is hard, not comfy. The beach area is ok, but you can't swim. You need to walk 200 meters if you want to swim at the beach area. But too many rocks. Not really safe. Fpod is great.

"Michael the doorman was very friendly and informative. He gave us plenty of information on the surrounding wildlife. The location was close to Fota wildlife park which was well worth a visit. There was a good selection for breakfast with a continental buffet and hot food from the menu. Lunch and dinner were also top notch. Swimming pool and Jacuzzi were nice and quiet during the evening."

"Everything was great! The location is excellent, the food was delicious, and most importantly, all the people who welcomed us throughout the hotel made a huge difference. We felt very well taken care of and we highly recommend it!"

The only point is that there are two types of rooms: some renovated and others older, without renovation. We recommend choosing the newer rooms if a more modern bathroom and updated furniture are important to you.

"The hotel reception provided early check-in to the best of their ability. Many breakfast options, including local Chinese, in abundance, and some international cuisine. Beautiful beachfront location, though somewhat overrun with street vendors, though the hotel has no control over this, the beaches are public-access. Convenient location within walking distance of local town center with shops, dining and souvenirs."

The room we booked was misrepresented on Booking.com as having a 'wonderful sea view' when in fact it turned out that this applied to the hotel in general, while our room had garden view. No animation team - beach volley, archery etc. - whatsoever.

"Nice and spaceous property just a 5-10 min drive from Tahko Ski Resort. 3 of the rooms out of 4 had private bathrooms, which was very convinient. Also the sauna was very specious. Would come back again!"

"Well maintained, super friendly and helpful staff. Room was always well stocked with towels and cleaned. Nicola does a great job by the pool keeping everyone happy with towels, food and drinks. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly and the bartender was always smiling and talkative. D Richard’s steakhouse was great - Steak Diane and Filet were both excellent. Sol de Mar had good Mediterranean style food with a relaxed atmosphere. My husband and I ate here on a few occasions- pasta with lobster, veal scallopini both great choices. Close location to a number of off property restaurants that are excellent."

The pads on the loungers are very old, worn thin and extremely uncomfortable to sit on. Chef’s Table wasn’t good- we ate only one dinner there and the lobster cake and fish were dried out. The pasta dish with Shrimp had the full shell on the shrimp still making eating very messy. Lobster Fest on the beach was disappointing. The lobster was dried out as it had been sitting under lamps for some time. We waited 30 minutes past our reservation time to finally get a table after speaking with the manager in charge. Very unorganized.

"Everything from A-Z was perfect, the staff was super friendly and helpful especially Ali the receptionist he organized and decorated the room for our marriage anniversary, my wife loved the surprise. The view of the Villa is breathtaking, the snow games are fun although I wish the weight limits were a bit more flexible."
