You can hear the neighborhood dogs and other apartments’ tenants during your stay, but that can’t be helped. As long as you can sleep with a little noise, this place is a gem!

Good location

"We stayed here before and after our trip to Legoland. Host was very kind and helpful. Easy check-in and checkout. Private parking space. Studio Apartament was cozy. Some books and games available. Also a Nespresso coffee machine and capsules , and tea as well. There are some really good bakeries nearby, ideal for breakfast and sweets."

Cleaning was done only on surface (superficial). Studio appartment is rather small. Quite expensive for what it offers

"The apartments are located very close to the city center with many restaurants and a convinience store in walking distance. room had a laundry machine and each day the laundry tablets were restocked and the room was cleaned. we were also allowed to leave our luggage in the reception after checking out for free."

I had no secure way to drop off the key at check-out, as the code to the box did not work, when I tried it this morning. It worked fine, at check-in. I left the key in the room, which I'd rather not have done.

"A very nice stay. Hosts were excellent. Very friendly, informative, relaxed but professional. The chalet was exactly what we had requested. To find somewhere quite private, 2 bedrooms with self-catering was a bonus. There aren't too many places that fit that criteria on the Island. Slightly out of town, but that's still very close on Norfolk. Norfolk is very different. Very nice. We can see why so many people get drawn there. 9 days was just enough. Very clean and well equipped."

Was all good. Anyone who finds fault here clearly shouldn't go to Norfolk.

Getting through the gate was hard the first time but easy after that. The chairs were very uncomfortable to sit on.

"I loved how clean and well kept the house was, when I arrived the room smelled amazing and there were a couple snacks for me to snack on while i made myself comfortable in my room. Demi and her husband were quite nice and helpful during my entire stay, i was even offered rides to go to my destinations, which was beyond helpful."

"A very nice and well equipped apartment on the 8th floor. The young lady who represented the owners was very helpful and nice about everything. The lady who was responsible for cleaning did a superb job."

As I have a problem with a leg I wrote the owners beforehand to be assured that access to the apartment was easy and was informed that it was, however, when we arrived it turned out that we first had to access one building and take a lift four floors and then walk a bit to access the building with the apartment. It should also be mentioned that there was a problem with the lock on the door leading out to the street, and it was often difficult to open from the outside. For the first three nights we were assigned an other apartment one floor below that was not up to standard at all. We were, however granted a discount for the inconvenience. We had not been informed about this beforehand. The television in the apartment did not work, and was not fixed during our stay. The apartment was on the eight floor and there was no sign for emergency exit on the floor. The owners lived in Italy and all contact with them was through the young lady representing them in Mindelo.

"The house has 9 apartments. Mine was a studio on the lower part and facing the ocean sideways. I had a small terrasse. It was super quite, had a lovely view onto the ocean. The studio is spacious. the kitchenette is fair. It had a toaster, coffee maker and a microwave. The "oven and stove" were two hotplates and a small oven in one. It was ok. Did sort of the trick. Could not adjust heat. Took quite a while to heat up and operate it, wasnt that easy because the markings were a bit off already. In addition, i got an electric shock because something didnt work proberly. The shower was great, but make sure you shower on time, because there is not unlimited hot / warm water ... first day, there was none. i learned they only have a large tank. Otherwise the owners were super friendly, helpful, kind and tried to make everything work. Overall, i enjoyed my stay and found the location, the amenities, space and the apartment overall really nice and convenient."

"Eco-friendly location, very clean, slept peacefully and comfortably, owner is very nice and helpful. Definitely relaxed here with my mom which was our goal. Also it's a relatively short walk down to main street, my mom is elderly and we even walked down to the public beach with no problems. Even though she doesn't allow pesticides, we didn't see one roach, fly or mosquito during our stay."

Make sure you talk to the owner about the size and amenities of tour cabin. I honestly can't complain, our stay was well fitted to our needs.

The amenities were outstanding. So much space in the rooms and everything I could ever need. The best stay of my entire trip. 10/10"

"The size of the apartment is great. The location between Baie des citrons and Anse Vata is excellent. The snorkelling across the road at Baie des Citrons is excellent, and the aquarium nearby is excellent. There are many restaurants nearby and it is a short drive (or medium walk) to get to a supermarket."

The weather was hot and there is only air conditioning in the bedrooms. It was hard to keep the apartment cool and the air conditioners struggled to keep up. The apartment itself is starting to be quite dated. When it was windy outside the balcony doors had a noisy whistle that was disruptive.

Location a bit far from downtown. It's not a problem for us, but some people may prefer to stay downtown.

"The view was exceptional. Every room had great view to the lake and the mtn Remarkable. All rooms were spacious. The kitchen was modern and functioned well. Very clean. The beds were very co.fortable. The whole unit felt very relaxing. Also, the staff's communication was great."

The garage was quite tight, and the driveway had quite a steep slope. The sound proof of floor was not great, footstep sound on the upper floor living room can be heard from the lower floor bedrooms.

"I stayed in multiple hotels/airbnbs on all 3 islands and this place was my favorite. Sean was a great host, very helpful and responsive. He helped arrange transportation and held my luggage before heading to the airport. The apartment was clean, had hot water (other Airbnb’s did not), and good AC. Kitchen was good for cooking basic breakfast with the provided daily eggs and baked goods. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay a short walk from the busy pier, you’ve found the perfect place."

"Unbeatable! Great location (near Gulshan 1 roundabout), huge self-contained apartments (80sqm), breakfast buffet and even a free airport pick-up included. I think all rooms have bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining area and living room with flatscreen TV. Staff were outstanding, especially Anisur"
