"Breakfast was more than a simple continental breakfast. You have choice of eggs, homemade yogurt, cereals and freshly baked baguette. Dinner was also good with local cooking. Just 10 mins drive from the airport. Isabelle is warm and we enjoy the company of the dogs :-)"

"Our stay at La Atrevida was truly wonderful. The hotel is charming, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. The rooms are stylish and very comfortable, and everything is always spotless and well organized. Andrea and Mario are incredibly attentive and present throughout the stay, taking care of every detail with genuine warmth and dedication. Their hospitality made the experience even more special. "The hostess was so kind and caring and professional. She answered questions, brought hot water for tea to our room, and met all of needs. The room was large, warm, nicely decorated with lots of blankets, lots of hot water both in the shower and the hand basin. The place was spotless. We ate dinner there twice and it was excellent, breakfast was delicious with lots of fruit"

"Quaint, cozy village house with friendly, hospitable Belgian hosts who speak Bulgarian and will make you feel right at home. If you're into luxury and 5-star hotels, do not book here. This is a great place to stay if you like the countryside, peace and quiet, dogs and smiling faces. Totally recommended! P.S.: The lighting in my Bedroom 1 was state-of-the-art."

In the bedroom, they use the white lien showing the cleanliness as a hostel. I'm very satisfied with staying in Tonga Cottage. Highly recommend."

"I spent a wonderful week at The Octopus Tropical Oasis. I had the flamingo cabin behind the pool with a double bed and an outdoor shower. There is a communal kitchen, a small deck and a hammock in a tropical garden. The pool is very nice and the area is very quiet. It is a 3 mn walk to Playa Wachi, 15 mn from Boca Sami beach and another 30 mn hike from there to Kokomo beach. I painted a mural for the owners over 3 days."

Bring mosquito spray as there are lots of mosquitoes from 5 pm to 7 am even with the mosquito net around the bed. I walked a lot as I did not rent a car. There are local buses though.

There was a miscommunication between messages and booking.com. Messages are separate from the actual booking. So if you have a special request make sure it is noted in the booking process and not just as a separate message. The owner was more than willing to help make everything right, but it is good information to know that the two forms of communication are not connected.

"We traveled on our bicycles and Highland lodge was the perfect stop between Afriski and Mokhontlong. Rooms were very large and so clean. Bed was very large and comfy. Staff was nice, friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend 👌🏼"

We would have enjoyed a desert after our dinner but it was not so important.
