Luxury tents in the Netherlands

"Quiet but a bit remote. Very private. Beautiful property."

Staff!! Before I leave, during the check out I was accusing I took a charger cable. I let her know I didn’t take it but she was affirming she left the cord by the speaker, then she called something to confirm that it was not there. But I left the place very upset! Next time do double check of the object are in the apartment! Beside this, the experience was great !

"It’s not in the center BUT I got picked up with the motorbike and brought back to the center the next day. It’s directly to the caves so you can be the first in the cave the next morning after a night in the nature with a beautiful nightsky"

"The place is really beautiful, with a very green garden. It is like a little piece of paradise. The hamacs are very comfortable, with mosquitos repellent net and air conditioner hanging right above you. We were the only ones using the kitchen, but worked out fine. The hosts are very nice!"

"Breakfast was perfect! Dinner was delicious… Enjoyed the room… it was beautiful! And well equipped for cold weather. Staff was so nice and friendly! Great location!"

Unfortunately, they cannot have a shower in the dome.. that was the only inconvenience!

"New, comfortable room with private bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Shared fully equipped kitchen. Good internet. Quiet in a safe district. 15 min in the bus number 10 or 12 to the city center. Alice, the owner who lives there, is very nice and helpful. She booked a taxi for us and woke up at 5.30a.m. to be sure that the taxi arrived. Excellent quality for a good price."

It is number 1 on the intercom when you arrive there. it is not written Conforto.

Die Ablage am Kopfende war nicht sauber ( tote Fliegen , Sand) , eine der LED Kerzen funktionierte nicht. Wir hatten uns zum Glück eine Lichterkette mitgebracht. Das sollte bei dem Preis doch schon der Fall sein.

"I had such a great stay at Lac Castor! My hut was right on the lake and was well stocked with firewood and cooking utensils. It was a little more off-grid than I expected. It seems as though the huts lighting works from solar power only so the lights did start to cut out in the evening, there isn't much/any cell service and there weren't outlets to be able to charge my phone. The communal toilets however did have working outlets that could be used. But I would 100% stay here again! The site is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Being able to take a canoe out onto the lake at sunset was just magic! And the staff are so friendly. I would highly recommend staying here!"

It would be nice to have more power to the huts, but I was very happy with it nonetheless.

"It was a true eco Lodge experience! It was almost like camping and the surrounding nature is incredible. They hire canoeing tours around the island as well which was great. The staff was great and was more than willing to assist with any requests. They have a big library and it's a great opportunity to digital detox"

This experience may not be for everyone. The wifi was shotty and slow at best. If you want freedom to travel, be prepared to pay extra for the boats. Otherwise you are restricted to the island except for the 1 free boat each way per day. We didn't mind this though. They have an extensive menu and many vegetarian options but it was average.
