"The place is very nice and quiet. We enjoyed staying there. The great entry to the ocean."

During rain water entered a master bathroom through a window, flying ants somehow entered rooms even the nets were on windows.

"Excellent location, just a short walk from Lonnoc Beach and a 15 minute walk from the famous Champagne Beach; 20 minute ride to Port Olry. There is a small village (Hog Harbour Village) nearby, about a 20 minute walk, where you can buy local bread and fruit. Accommodation is very basic but serves its purpose. Mosquito coils and nets are provided. The local who looked after us, Melody, was very welcoming and kind, and made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. There were no kayaks available but they can be rented from the neighbouring Lonnoc Beach Bungalows."

Drainage in the shower is poor and the floor quickly becomes wet and muddy. Facilities are very worn out. The room has no shelving to put your belongings; this would be a great improvement. If you are on a budget, keep in mind that pretty much the only food options in the area are the restaurants at the lodge or at neighbouring accommodations, where a meal costs 1500-2000 vatu per person. The food is delicious though and there are local dishes - the paw paw curry was phenomenal.

"Die Unterkunft war sehr gut gelegen und erreichbar. Parkmöglichkeiten waren ebenfalls in direkter Nähe. Die Ferienwohnung war gut ausgestattet und haben uns sehr willkommen und wohlgefühlt 🙂. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen 🥰🥰🥰"

Das einzige was es zu bemängeln gab, das keine Handtücher vorhanden waren. Es gab kein Hinweis das diese nicht mit inbegriffen ist bzw diese gegen Aufpreis erhältlich sind. Leider war es auch etwas staubig und einiges an vorhandene Geschirr sehr klebrig. Dafür gibt's es aber Hände was somit schnell behoben werden könnte. Das ist aber Kritisieren auf hohem Niveau......Wie gesagt es sind wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten. Dennoch würde diese Unterkunft jeden empfehlen.👍🙂

"La cabane est de très bonne qualité, spacieuse avec un pont qui donne sur une petite terrasse. Un salon est également à disposition sous la cabane avec un bbq. La cabane est très bien agencée avec ce qu’il faut, notamment un grand frigo, de la vaisselle et de quoi faire la cuisine. L’endroit est très bien situé au calme entre Bouillante et Deshaies. A 50m de la maison cacao et duke plage de galet. Les plages de sable sont entre 7 et 15mn en voiture. L’endroit parfait pour se dépayser. Liliane est une personne formidable qui conseille volontiers et est à dispositions en cas de besoin. Nous avons adorés ce séjour."

"Wonderful little getaway, greeted by the most charming host and beautiful, peaceful, tranquil surroundings. Saw the sunrise with coffee and breakfast on the private terrace/decking area. A must if you are in the area."

Everything was perfect.

"The place was beautiful and clean and exactly as described. It was a lovely stay. The view was amazing and the location was practical, close enough to walk on foot to the city center. But also far enough to be quiet and calm. The staff "Khalid" was pleasant and polite and very helpful."

The only downside was the staff "Ahmed" who was unpleasant and rude and when I told him he is being impolite he didn't even apologize and got worse. Thankfully Khaled was there to deal with instead. I would recommend guests to deal with him directly.

Needs renovation in some parts . May be deep cleaning every now and then . More attention to the pool facilities. Sign on the street to guide .

"Dobri Dom is a beautiful place to stay in the mountain area, surrounded by peaceful views and nature, perfect for a calm and memorable getaway."

The only issue is accessibility during winter. due to the slippery road, cabs don’t come all the way to the hotel, so you need to walk a bit to catch a taxi.
