"If you are more a visitor then a tourist, if you like exploring and going further when comfortable tourism ends, this place is for you. The authenticity, genuine friendliness and welcoming hearts of the people of the community made this stay incredibly unique and one of the best experiences of my life. When staying here one can get closer to locals, animals, cultural sights, traditions, local way of life, nature and the PNG culture in general then in any other accommodation. The PNGFE made my stay very comfortable and made me experience local life and the raw nature of PNG!!"

"Perfect accommodation for our week on Exuma. Our host Mark provided lots of recommendations of things to do and where to go. He also checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. You definitely need a car to get around the island, and I found the beach a bit too far for walking when it was hot. A very relaxing week."

Nothing in particular. My only suggestion would be to provide 2 matching wine glasses in the accommodation..

No shower curtain, beds were uncomfortable, room only had a space heater and was always a little cold (in January). Had to change rooms in the middle of the stay. I would avoid this place as a single female traveler due to security issues as my first room didn't fully close and neither room locked. Male host was very friendly but unprofessional -- offered to get the two of us alcohol so we could hang out together.

I loved the property except it took a while for the living room area to cool down due to the AC only being in the bedrooms

"The location was very beautiful, in the countryside with a magnificent view of the greenery. The breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the hostess was very friendly. The room was spacious, as was the shared kitchen. There is also a seating area outside."

There wasn't always (hot) water, but that was resolved well.

"I enjoyed my stay 100%, exceeded my expectations, mostly the host is very kind and attentive and was ready for help any time and very responsive. Very clean, neatly decorated and perfectly equipped facilities, ideally located in between st. julians and sliema, easy to reach anywhere on the island with public transport. I think this is the best for its category and price tag."

Being from a tropical climate I felt that the timing of hot water was less. It can be increased. Also some seating in courtyard could be increased.

"I've had the most amazing and warmest welcome anyone could dream of , mama mireka is such a beautiful human , so kind and caring Her son engi and her daughter in law were so considerate and kind , brought me some breakfast and drove me to the airport as well as helped me sort out some issues I had with the airlines And they kept checking on me until I landed in my next destination The place was really nice and spacious and had all what one needs ... Just little bit of issue in internet but we only spent night time at the hotel so was not that much of a problem.

"I visited 4 islands in Polynesia, and this was the BEST one for many reasons. The staff-owners are kind and welcoming and multilingual. The place is serene, remote, and un-touristy. I felt like I could actually relax, as a result. I read, explored the clear and warm waters, napped, walked around, took tours, and enjoyed a slow pace for a few days. It was beautiful. The property itself is well and lovingly maintained. The windows and balcony doors had no screens so the breezes swept through gently and unencumbered. It was like being bathed in winds. (If you need it, there is a mosquito net in the room). There are cute little doggies that greet you and every boat as you pull up and they watch you as you sail away. Pretty place, scenic."

It suited me just fine, but some people might not like that there is no wifi in the rooms and there are no tvs either. (THERE IS WIFI 24/7 in the main lodge). It’s really a place to unplug, read, write, and swim and explore.
