Prices were a little expensive, but that was totally understandable given the high quality of the place and the amenities that were provided.

"I really enjoyed the location and the breakfast included (though it was small). The price was low for a more expensive country, so that is always a bonus. The staff was very friendly and communicated clearly."

The bathrooms were a little messy and did not have great quality. Some parts were just dated overall. Not too much to complain about.

"Everything was great in the hostel itself, but the best part was that before I arrived in Vietnam I texted them to arrange tours for me to ha long bay, ninh binh, and ha giang loop, and they arranged everything for me and everything went GREAT. The ha giang loop was amazing. Everything went so smoothly and perfectly. So, if you are not sure where to book it and coming in this hostel, they’ll do it for you and you won’t regret it."

"The Host was so welcoming with great communication and ensured that I was taken care of even when my flight was delayed and I ended up arriving way later that I had initially communicated. She is a 10/10 host. The security is really good in the property. The location is central. A great place if you are looking for a simple place to rest your head before onward travel."

The place wasn’t up to my personal cleanliness standards, though others who are less particular might find it perfectly fine for a night’s stay

Finding it is a little tough. The location isn’t well marked on maps.

Our room was very small, the bed took up most of the floor space. However, this has to be balanced with the amount we paid.

"The beds were clean and had mosquito nets. The room was spacious with only 4 beds. There's an AC in the room and 2 fans. The location is good; it's like a village on the western side of the city. It is safe even walking at night. There are small shops nearby. You can buy basic stuff and cook in the fully equipped kitchen. The beaches are 15-20 minutes walking or 5 min by tuktuk. The fast ferry to the airport is just 10 min walking distance. The staff were ok and helpful. The view from the balcony is great. It's the cheapest place in town. In fact it's the only hostel in Freetown on Booking.com. They have a generator in case of power cuts. The wifi is fast."

The toilet needs a bit of cleaning and maintenance. There's no hot water and the water pressure is weak. The generator is right under the dorm window; very loud. But still; you get what you pay for. A basic hotel in the area is 3-4 times more expensive.

"Vibes were great, bathrooms were clean, laundry was efficient, and the staff was hella friendly. Great place to mingle too, and in a great neighborhood that was observing Ramadan at the time."

I stayed in the room at the very top of the building, so you could hear some kind of generator outside the walls the whole night. So there was some noise. Unsure if from inside or a neighbor.

"Excellent location! Near beaches and also quiet. Close to Jijel (an easy bus ride) yet also far enough away that it felt like a small town--quiet and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again! Staff was so helpful and friendly."

"The common area always had other travelers to meet and the staff was nice. The breakfast was simple but satisfying. The location is just a short walk to the main tourist sites of the city."

The beds were quite uncomfortable. Mosquito nets full of holes. Understandably the building and windows are old but need to have appendages added to be able to prop them open because there is no airflow and pretty stuffy and smelly rooms.

"Close to the Medina and not too long walk to the street cars to get you to the Bardo Museum."

I had a couple of noisy roommates who snored but otherwise it was ok.

"The location was beautiful but be aware that it is pretty far from town and there are no shops or places to eat around."

Be aware that Google routes you on the road on the other side is the river from Konjic but you can’t go through on that road because the road is closed when you reach some type of facility.

The bed was a little hard for me as a side sleeper.

I didn't like that some guests were smoking in the public area, it's not possible according to the rules in the UAE. The washing machine and the fritz are sharing one plug, it's completely unbelievable why this Small problem was not taken care of a long time ago. The tap in the bathroom has a hole so the water is being sprayed all over the place. This is clearly a proof of bad leadership in this company when small things can't be fixed 😔 The staff Fayas is doing a good job keeping the place clean, and are always smiling 😊
