"The place was well kept and we really appreciated the detail and personal touch of the facilities including the visiting Lemurs! The food was excellent with creative and new menu being developed daily. We loved the fresh bread daily and crepes, we definitely looked forward to our meals every time! Patrick and Naik were attentive to all our needs and made us feel very comfortable!"

Staff does not speak English except for the receptionist. It is very annoying. All signs are in Slovakian. There are plenty of foreigners who are lost when it comes to reading Slovakian. The heating regulation does not work in rooms so we had to sleep in 25 degrees ending up cracking windows.

"Excellent restaurant!!! A different vegetable soup everyday in the menu. Conch chowder is a famous and highly recommended!!! Staff is very polite and attentive and goes far beyond expectations. Hotel has accommodated all our extra requests. Hotel is located inside of the botanic garden, actually. Very nice. The houses are quite far from each other, we have never feel crowded. Pillows are great!"

In our room the ventilator was a little noisy. I think it was quite old.

"Perfect locations. Hotel amenities. Nearly night market. Temple. And infront of hotel do arms giving celebrate money. The staff excellent service and help full. The daily room cleaning. Breakfast set menus for shoose is perfect. I will be back to stay here again for my next travels. 🥰🥰🥰"

Location is relatively far from the metro lines (roughly 15 minutes in each direction), The hotel offers free laundry machines, but the dryer is not very good and leaves the clothes damp, need to air dry a few hours

"Worth the 4km off-road from the main road on the way to Wadi Rum (and/or as complementary day to the Wadi Rum experience). Compared to Wadi Rum, this experience was calm and authentic outside of the touristic paths. it's a beautiful spot, Jaffar and Julie cooked wonderful food and we had a good evening chat. Sukran!"

A bit warm in those small rooms, but if you leave the door open, the breeze helps a lot.

We enjoyed her homemade baked goods, meat and cheese options, yogurt, coffee, and so much more. My husband is an avid fly fisherman and he chose coming here for the fishing. He was not disappointed. Renate was so helpful to him & he had a wonderful time. The little village is beautiful and has a very convenient market walking distance from our apartment. We would highly recommend visiting here & we thank Renate for everything she did to help make our trip so wonderful."

"Owner is a kind and jolly fellow. He sings songs very well. We sang John Lennon, Beatles, Queen, Bob Dylan during breakfast. Breakfast was very nice, he prepared local veg cuisines for us and buffet menu has several items. He is straightforward in approach. Nice for the given price range."

"The location on the peninsula was great- quieter than being on the island and close to other interesting sites like the recently discovered Mayan ruins than are now being excavated. It was perfect for relaxing. The host and staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were available on site and there were also a couple of other restaurants close by."

"Absolutely lovely guesthouse in the city a block from the waterfront--a few minutes drive from anywhere in the capital. Easy street (sidewalk really, lol) parking right outside the gate. Room was spacious and comfortable with great A/C. The pool and lounge areas were wonderful to rest and reset, and the breakfast was good. All the staff were kind and helpful, and I had a great stay. I would return again!"

The wifi wasn't very consistent, but I had a local sim chip, so I was fine.

The hotel is next to the freeway, so avoid rooms close to front due to constant traffic noise.

As it was late in the season, we were the only guests. Sandra was very helpful and set our breakfast out for us before she had to go out to work. The breakfast was rather unappetising with cheap sliced bread & ham, plentiful, but unappealing.

While the host was extremely helpful, he asked for tip when dropping us in Villavieja at the end of our stay. While he is of course free to ask, we already ate twice at the hostel restaurant and booked transport to the gray desert with him. All in, we already spend quite some pesos (and still happy with that), but it just felt a bit off to then ask for even more.
