"Great location, very quiet and rural. We had a great view of the Aurora in mid-January. The owner was very gracious and offered us traditional svid (sheep head) to try in addition to the regular lamb meatloaf, fish, pasta, and potatoes. It's a traditional Icelandic dish but a bit intimidating to order in a restaurant as your whole meal, so this was a real treat to try. It was good, especially the cheek meat."

"It's a horse ranch! There's cute German girls that work there! You're basically in the middle of nowhere, so stop at a grocery store before you get there. Snæfellsnes is gorgeous!"

"We stayed in one of the cabins on the horse farm. There was a spectacular view of the glacier from the front door and the family-style meals in the farmhouse were delicious. The people working there were all helpful. There is nothing nearby. It was quiet and a real Iceland countryside experience. Would definitely come back if I have the chance."

"Just a small afterthought. I thought there was internet in the room, but there wasn't. Not a big deal, we figure it out. Would have liked some soap and shampoo in the room. Didn't know I needed to bring my own."

"Clean, modern room. Seems like the hotel portion where we stayed (separate from the cottages) was built recently. It had an up to date bathroom. Modern amenities. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast. Friendly staff."

"The location is stunning. We stayed in the main building and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and big. It was nice to have the use of the kitchenette in the lobby."

"The check in process was a little unorganized and confusing. They didn’t offer dinner while we were there, so we went to the neighboring hotel (which was actually quite good). As with everywhere in Iceland, the breakfast was overpriced."
