"First of all we also had a tour which was great. We drank great wine and had an amazing dinner. When we went to see the rooms, we couldn’t believe how big they were. Honestly, some of the biggest hotel rooms I have ever seen, in a small room budget. They looked good, the bed was comfortable, we received a wine as a welcome gift."

In one of the rooms I think the heating was not functioning properly, but it was fine, the weather was not too cold anyway

A bit confusion regarding payment on the website & being told by Manager that Booking.com confirmed reservation, but payments are made at site.(Not listed on website) My payment info was given twice which was not necessary.

"The location is perfect. The lake, the view, the village, thd island and the atmosphere are alk outstanding. Friendly and helpfull staff. True peace and relaxation."

The foir when arriving 35 min before closing time. Most was gone.

The curtains didn’t open and close fully and bathtub stopper didn’t work. Ongoing pool & restaurant construction with no prior notification.

"The hotel is very nice, located right next to Petra’s main entrance. Based on the staff’s recommendation, we took a taxi (there is also a shuttle) to the other side of the park and walked from the end to the beginning. It was probably better than walking the whole long route twice 🙂"

We had a great time enjoying all it has to offer but The mini golf needs maintenance.

"Excellent historic building and interiors. The park with the pond looked nice too, but didn't have time to walk around. Several rooms are for team working activities. Cute spa with big jacuzzis and several saunas. We were welcomed by a very nice lady."

Restaurant could have something simple for eating, too. We don't need the full menu all the time. Some fruits, cheese, cookies, for example.

It is in Kigamboni, really far away from everything and the location pin on booking is at the wrong place, most likely by intention (we confronted the staff - they all knew and gave erratic responses. They play music on weekends, beware, the volume is obnoxious and no one seems to enjoy that. The rooms are very dated and are not worth the money they charge.

"very nice and cozy hotel, good value for money. I liked the bathhouse and sauna at the hotel, we were lucky that there weren’t many people and only our company rested there. Great location right in the few meters from the first ski lift. would recommend for stay"

"Everything was great! The location is excellent, the food was delicious, and most importantly, all the people who welcomed us throughout the hotel made a huge difference. We felt very well taken care of and we highly recommend it!"

The only point is that there are two types of rooms: some renovated and others older, without renovation. We recommend choosing the newer rooms if a more modern bathroom and updated furniture are important to you.

"The location and landscape around is amazing. They upgraded my room which was also very nice. The atmosphere around is amazing, you are in a calm area next to nature and with busy atmosphere if you wish too. The Coral beach is really good, with sand part and colorful fishes. Chekin process is really nice and quick. Myryam is heart! What is also amazing is guest services (Karina is amazing!), Concierge (he really went beyond and showed genuine support and kindness), towel services guys at the beach. In general Front Office experience is great."

Food can be better. The choice is not bad but the taste is not. I have seen better fruit choices in other less expensive hotels in Egypt. Desert station is not bad, but can be offered more tasty choices instead of quantity. Salad station is also not very good due to quality of recepies. Hot dishes the same, the quantity is the there, but barely nothing is really tasty. WCs of the main restaurant is also really in a bad condition, missing basic conditions. House keeping can be better, as when you enter the room (I had two different rooms) you don't have the freshness feeling, room still smells another people). There is no Bath robe in the room which is basic too. Quality of linen is not good, it looks very overused.

"The room is very spacious and is basically a whole apartment with bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen and varanda. The decoration is cozy and elegant, all in good taste. There is a small commercial area with bakery, mini market, restaurant, beauty salon, self-service laundry, and child care."

We stayed in the room above the restaurant and it was a bit noisy (chairs and tables being dragged around) during clean-up at 11:30 pm. The bathroom lacked lighting above the shower and hooks to hang the hand towels... and the towels were a bit worn out.

Our only complaint was that we were the furthest room from the front desk. Other than that we were very happy with it.

"The hotel reception provided early check-in to the best of their ability. Many breakfast options, including local Chinese, in abundance, and some international cuisine. Beautiful beachfront location, though somewhat overrun with street vendors, though the hotel has no control over this, the beaches are public-access. Convenient location within walking distance of local town center with shops, dining and souvenirs."

The room we booked was misrepresented on Booking.com as having a 'wonderful sea view' when in fact it turned out that this applied to the hotel in general, while our room had garden view. No animation team - beach volley, archery etc. - whatsoever.

"I did not have breakfast, but for the location yes, I really like the location because it is closer to the beach and also the other places like Market, shops, Air Niugini and safe for me and quite too."

"Majority of the staff here are very nice, welcoming, and helpful. There are a few who were a little rude however the politeness of the others outshine those interactions by far. Special mention to Triston who was very polite, patient, and insightful throughout our entire trip. Jeremiah was also very nice and helped make our trip special with his suggestions and assistance at the beach. There was also a manager whose name started with a T who welcomed us upon arrival and checked on us to ensure everything was to our liking. From the initial interactions, these staff members helped our group of 6 feel like we were regular visitors at the Verandah although this was our first stay. I would defiantly return and highly recommend a stay here. Sidebar: The food is great and well seasoned!"

The property is very large and sometimes there is a long wait to get a buggy to travel. There could be a few more shaded areas throughout the property especially when waiting for transportation.

"Great value for the money. The hotel is completely renovated with super nice rooms and facilities. Please ignore previous comments about not being completed. The entire area is beautiful. We had the pleasure to visit multiple restaurants and all of them had great food. Recommend to book them already the first night to make sure that you have a spot. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Our room was always clean and filled up with water, drinks and snacks. Pools and beach is great with plenty of options for everyone."

The only negative aspect is that a big portion of the staff doesn’t speak English, so sometimes it can be a bit tricky to communicate, but it is always sorted out somehow. The resort is huge(you have access to all other hotels under the palladium umbrella), sometimes it can be a bit tricky to navigate. You can take out how many towels you want, so people tend to book up a lot of spots without really using them. When arriving later to the beach, it was usually difficult to find something. Recommendation would be to limit the number of towels a room can take out.

The houses are on a 3-4 min walk from the place where you eat and the spa. After being at the spa, you need to walk in the cold in the winter to get to the room if you do not bring the car.

"We only stayed here for one night but we were very happy with everything. The reception staff were lovely and helpful, the rooms were large and very comfy, the grounds were immaculate and it was a hop skip and a jump from the beach."
