Bed and Breakfasts in Japan

"A little piece of paradise! We loved this place. It's not fancy - don't expect five-star amenities; however, it is simply perfect. Our cottage sat right on the beach and we felt we had the entire place to ourselves. The beach is simply stunning and there's loungers and huts on the beach for the residents. Wifi worked great while we were there. Even though there's no cable, we were able to stream from some apps. Beach bar was closed because of slow season, so I can't speak to it, but it's in a very convenient location. Staff were SO nice!! We can't wait to return to this amazing gem of a place!"

We did not get the room we asked for or anything like it. We are in our late 70's and the hotel manager took us to a room 4 flights up on steep steps without railings. The room didn't have the decor we expected from the photos. It had a balcony with a spiral staircase to the roof. This was not thewater view I was promised.The staff showed us 3 or 4 rooms and said some where higher priced and we would have to pay the up charge.We finally took a room that was smaller than we booked and only one flight up with the same price. The bed was comfortable but the views terrible and the bathroom was very tiny with lots of problems. The toilet wasn't seated correctly so it banged every time you say on it . There were no hooks to hang towels or robes and no toilet paper roller so the toilet paper kept falling on the floor. The shower was only a hand held and there was no hooking mechanism to put the hand held up for a shower. The staff went all out to help us but we never saw an owner or head manager that could correct things.

Not many busses per day. A car would be helpful but there are excursions the Auberge will book for you and many beautiful walks. No grocery stores nearby.

"Accommodation is near the city center, very basic but clean and decent. Clean sheets and towels were available. Very easy to find, it is on the street corner. Free street parking is available on the the street."

We had to call the host by cellular phone while in rooming because no one was at the property at the time of arrival. Luckily host arrived few minutes later. I think it would be better if they used a small locker with code for the key.

Slept with the windows open to the sound of the waves. Amazing and lovely owners! We will return if we are ever in Barbados again. THANK YOU!"

"Accommodations are simple but very comfortable. Nice swimming pool right out the hotel room door. Short walk to the water. We really enjoyed diving. My 18yr old son got PADI certified. They did an awesome job with him. Nassar was his instructor. He was awesome! Area was very safe."

No complaints. Please understand that tourism is severely impacted by the Gazan war. Many hotels and restaurants are closed and those that are open often are operating in a limited capacity. For example hotel restaurants might not operate at all. This affects all hotels. There were almost no tourists as of November 2025.
