"The house was very close to the start of the hike to Valbona and also close to the center of town. The staff were so kind! We were the only people staying for some of the nights we were there as it was late in the season, but they always made sure to make a delicious, huge breakfast just for us. The manager also looked after our rental car for a night while we hiked to Valbona and stayed there. The double room was nice and had a nice balcony. Would highly recommend!"

"This was such a perfect room for me. Spacious, clean, quiet, comfortable bed, really nice hot shower. And the location is unbeatable. Right in the heart of Thamel, with everything within a few minutes walk, yet the hotel itself felt hidden and private. The best part though were the kind staff and the hotel manager. Everyone in Nepal so far has been kind and friendly, but they were above and beyond. And the breakfast on the rooftop with the little mini garden all around. That was the top! I would definitely stay there again next time I am in Kathmandu."

"Very strongly recommend: Airbnb is part of a beautiful villa in safe residential neighbourhood. Private parking on the ground of the villa. The studio with the two double beds is huge and spotlessly clean. The bathroom is also very spacious. The hostess and host are extremely kind and very respectful of privacy, etc. Optional breakfast is offered - excellent coffee, fresh croissants or pain au chocolate, etc. You can hear the ocean which is some 200 m further."

We liked absolutely everything. We could list many more things we liked like the swimming pool which is long enough to swim into and warm.

Quite old and doesn’t soundproof. Bathroom didnt look the cleanest, and needs renovation. Bathroom window doesnt lock. Walls need a repaint. No place to lie next to the pool. Location wasn’t convenient so I suggest a car or stay in the city.

I got to the guesthouse around midnight after an 8 hour car transfer from bishkek, and they were super helpful and welcomed me and made sure i was settled in. They arranged my transfers and tried to get me the best prices. They arranged some tours and connected me to people i could speak to regarding activities. The room was cozy with gorgeous views to wake up to. The bed is comfy as well. Their garden is pretty, with a swing. They also have a cute cat. It's a 20 min walk from the city center, but it's a scenic walk because the Karakol Riverside Park is located right behind the property. It's close to a market and pharmacy as well. The breakfast is super delicious and fresh. I had a wonderful time and wanted to extend my stay but couldn't because of travel logistics."

We did not get the room we asked for or anything like it. We are in our late 70's and the hotel manager took us to a room 4 flights up on steep steps without railings. The room didn't have the decor we expected from the photos. It had a balcony with a spiral staircase to the roof. This was not thewater view I was promised.The staff showed us 3 or 4 rooms and said some where higher priced and we would have to pay the up charge.We finally took a room that was smaller than we booked and only one flight up with the same price. The bed was comfortable but the views terrible and the bathroom was very tiny with lots of problems. The toilet wasn't seated correctly so it banged every time you say on it . There were no hooks to hang towels or robes and no toilet paper roller so the toilet paper kept falling on the floor. The shower was only a hand held and there was no hooking mechanism to put the hand held up for a shower. The staff went all out to help us but we never saw an owner or head manager that could correct things.

"Before arriving, we were in Iran with no internet, so we could not contact the hotel for pick-up. The staff member, F*r*d*, was very kind and helpful, so we did not wait long. Because we arrived late and could not exchange money, she even lent us her own money, all she had that night. The hotel was very comfortable, clean, and relaxing, so we extended our stay. We had a small issue with one heater, but she tried to find and brought us a portable heater. In one cold and snowy night after sightseeing, she made tea by herself in the kitchen and served us hot tea. It was a small thing, but very unexpected and truly touching. Another staff member, M*r*i*, was also very helpful. He worked efficiently and made everything easy for guests. He also helped us find a good driver to tour the city. When we left the hotel, he was very helpful as well. Small gestures like these made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended!"

"Had to call for the airport shuttle which cost 5 usd which is $1000 gt dollors which we had booked with the room . NO BREAKFAST WAS AVAILABLE .you could take a bus right in front of the apartment to go town which is cheaper at 100 gt dollors (than calling a taxi which will cost you 900 gt dollors )one way ) Over all my stay was good rain fall all day which made our first day a challenge but was ok as we did go to town and walked around we asked question people was very helpfull .we took the bus back on regent street going to (camville on garnet street )which drop us back in front of the apartment ."

The host were very helpful and nonintrusive. The farm eggs were great value and I enjoyed eating fresh farm eggs for breakfast."

Staff was great and communication with Abiy (owner and host) was spot on. His hotel staff is super friendly and welcoming. "Location was excellent, close to the river - and the overall vibe was great. It feels like you're really in the jungle, with lots of interesting birds and even warthogs coming to visit. The bar and pool area were very enjoyable. The river cruise was also fantastic. I love that it left right from the hotel's dock."

The rooms could have been a bit cleaner. The ramp up to the bar area becomes extremely slippery when wet and I saw one guest fall while using it. It definitely needs to have thin planks of wood added to it to provide grip. The food was okay - the meat a bit chewy and the ingredients did not taste super fresh. The breakfast, however, was great. Be prepared to use mosquito spray!

Le lit est vraiment ferme, mais les 3 logements de notre séjour étaient comme ça donc j'imagine que c'est classique en Guadeloupe.
