The General Manager Muhammed was consistently available, incredibly accommodating, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. It is rare to find leadership so hands-on and dedicated to the guest experience. Every request was met with kindness, and their presence added a personal touch that you don't often find in luxury boutique hotels. If you are looking for a place where you are treated with authentic hospitality and care, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. "Lovely welcome from the hosts with offers of coffee and raki! Comfortable room for the night with all that we needed. Had the fish that was on offer in the evening which was yummy. Able to walk down to the boardwalk and monastery. Recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet getaway."

The guy at check out seemed frustrated with my questions about how to get my passport stamped. I speak French so it wasn’t the language barrier. I did figure it out tho!

We have had full access at the spa area, where was relaxing( 3 different saunas, pool, jacuzzi), also noticed the cleanness at all times. I warmly recommend this location."

Breakfast (really good) starts at 8.30. Should at 6.30 or. 7.00. Sound isolation not too good. Instead of infrared could have been proper sauna.

"The property is located directly on the beach. It is quiet and the apartment is spacious. I absolutely loved it, but the location is on the opposite side of the island from almost all attractions. Rent a car, not from Andy’s at the Ferry, but definitely rent a car. Taking a taxi from one side of the island to the other is about $35-$40 one way."

"The hosipitality from all staff was amazing. Everyone was extremely helpful and understanding of all the cross border challenges we experienced. Our group was even offered transportation to and from the airport. Staff checked up with us every step of the way from pre-check in to post airport drop off.The rooms were beautifully set up and clean throughout our stay. Overall ambiance of the hotel gives island vacation , almost forgot this was a work trip"

"A lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable, with everything you need. Very good breakfast served in a pleasant interior. Close to the city center (5 minutes away). It can definitely be recommended as a great place to stay in Valmiera!"

"The hotel has basic accomodations: shared bathrooms, cold water shower. But for tropical climate I didn't need more. The hotel rates were unbeatable. I would stay again with no doubts. There is a bar nearby, so you could hear the singers/musicians until 9 or 10 pm. For breakfast you can buy coffee and baleadas, the best in the town. The diving shop was wonderful. Diving there feels like diving with people you know for very long time. They pay attention to your safety but at the same time are not too baby-sitting. Many people I met in there come annually, which tells you this place is unique."

"The location was perfect! The balcony gave us a great view of the harbor and the activity. The room was large, two beds--great! I think the TV worked well, but that was less important to us. The room was bright and light."

It is never fun to need to put toilet paper in the waste basket, but that's necessary, right? I cannot remember, but I think there was no guide to TV channels, which is something my husband likes. Again, not very important.

"The dining area was a beautiful inner courtyard covered with grape vines and grapes! Very inviting and idyllic."

The rooms are a good size and there was a nice deck. The bathroom had a pretty strong mildew smell and the shower was quite weak.

"The hotel is located right in the town centre. I have a super beautiful and comfortable deluxe suite room and I booked it here with a reasonable price. The room that I stayed has really good facilities, what I particularly like it is that there is a washing machine for you to wash your clothes. The room comfort, cleanliness and hygiene level is top-notch and you will have a good rest and sleep here. All the staff here are really efficient, professional and friendly. My room includes breakfast as well with unlimited servings and it fed me really well as I needed to use a lot of energy for my activity on that day itself, my breakfast meal at the hotel cafe is delicious, fresh and sumptuous. WiFi connection is fast and good."
