"Great location - easy parking. Rooms were simple yet clean. Great water pressure and hot water. Heaters in the room. Friendly staff and good breakfast(homemade yoghurt, fruit compote, baked goodies. The dinner in the restaurant was delicious and well priced"

"The hotel has basic accomodations: shared bathrooms, cold water shower. But for tropical climate I didn't need more. The hotel rates were unbeatable. I would stay again with no doubts. There is a bar nearby, so you could hear the singers/musicians until 9 or 10 pm. For breakfast you can buy coffee and baleadas, the best in the town. The diving shop was wonderful. Diving there feels like diving with people you know for very long time. They pay attention to your safety but at the same time are not too baby-sitting. Many people I met in there come annually, which tells you this place is unique."

The rooms were spotless and beautifully designed, but the real highlight was the owner of the hotel who drove us and showed us around to all the top attractions. Every detail was handled with care. "The pool was necessary but a little dirty. The ac is effective and the hot water is too. You cant ask to much of hospitality businesses in this part of west africa but this place exceeded them. This place is great for overlanders"

Its definitely more of a "hang out" hotel for locals to come swim or watch football. It will probably be a little rowdy on some weekends. The staff seemed a little confused how to handle overnight guests.

"Everything is perfect We came there for enjoying the Christmas eve and the top perfect it's snowing time, we were so exciting and happy with the view and timing. All about the hotel are exceptional.. staff, food, view, room Just perfect moment and time"

Hope they find a solution to handle the brutal driver who did something like racing in the front of hotel

"Everything about the hotel was excellent, the receptionist was polite and helpful, the bar manager and bartender were excellent, had an excellent night's sleep, breakfast was great and the gentleman showed us where everything was he was very helpful and polite"

• The staff were very slow, especially in the restaurant. The bar/counter area often looked messy and disorganized. • Although the room itself was clean, the chocolate in the minibar was very old and moldy, which is unacceptable. • Some light bulbs in the room were not working or were flickering. • The small inner outdoor area of the room was dirty and poorly maintained.

The rooms are a good size and there was a nice deck. The bathroom had a pretty strong mildew smell and the shower was quite weak.

"First to start with the location, its in the center of zahle and close to everything; mini markets, restarurants, pubs, and all types of shops. Also close to the popular berdawni area. All are within walking distance. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel management and staff were super nice and friendly. The value for the price paid was excellent."

"Lovely welcome from the hosts with offers of coffee and raki! Comfortable room for the night with all that we needed. Had the fish that was on offer in the evening which was yummy. Able to walk down to the boardwalk and monastery. Recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet getaway."

The hourly rate concept is honestly brilliant, especially for travelers in transit who just need a comfortable place to recharge. Convenient, practical, and run by great people. The paperwork process is a little much so maybe upgrade that. Otherwise, perfect!"

"The location was perfect! The balcony gave us a great view of the harbor and the activity. The room was large, two beds--great! I think the TV worked well, but that was less important to us. The room was bright and light."

It is never fun to need to put toilet paper in the waste basket, but that's necessary, right? I cannot remember, but I think there was no guide to TV channels, which is something my husband likes. Again, not very important.

"The property is located directly on the beach. It is quiet and the apartment is spacious. I absolutely loved it, but the location is on the opposite side of the island from almost all attractions. Rent a car, not from Andy’s at the Ferry, but definitely rent a car. Taking a taxi from one side of the island to the other is about $35-$40 one way."

"The hotel is located right in the town centre. I have a super beautiful and comfortable deluxe suite room and I booked it here with a reasonable price. The room that I stayed has really good facilities, what I particularly like it is that there is a washing machine for you to wash your clothes. The room comfort, cleanliness and hygiene level is top-notch and you will have a good rest and sleep here. All the staff here are really efficient, professional and friendly. My room includes breakfast as well with unlimited servings and it fed me really well as I needed to use a lot of energy for my activity on that day itself, my breakfast meal at the hotel cafe is delicious, fresh and sumptuous. WiFi connection is fast and good."
