There is only one chair in two beds room which four of us is not able to sit next to table :(

"Hotel France is very clean, safe, quiet, and friendly. It is easy to walk to everything. I was awakened every morning by the aroma of fresh warm pastries! I would definitely stay here again!! I posted pictures of how to easily get to Hotel France from train station. Go to platform C and walk all the way to the end, turn LEFT and walk all the way to the end of the tunnel. You will enter a small court yard, walk a little to the right and look for a small set of stairs next to the cafe. Go down the stairs and turn to the left, Hotel France is right there. Google directions are confusing. (my pictures loaded in reverse order)"

"Het meest beviel ons de rust en hygiëne. We aten ontbijt en diner in het hotel. Vantevoren konden we aangeven hoe laat we het wilden hebben en wat we wilden eten. De kok luisterde goed naar onze wensen. Verder is het personeel zeer behulpzaam en helpt wanneer nodig."

Eigenlijk viel niets echt tegen. Omdat het een nieuwe lokatie is, merk je dat de medewerkers nog wat onwennig zijn en moet je pro-actief zijn. Zo hadden we handdoeken en een kopje voor 1 persoon op de kamer terwijl we met zijn tweeën waren. Als je erom vraagt zorgen ze snel dat het wordt opgelost. Als je TV wil kijken, houd er rekening mee dat je alleen YouTube video's kunt bekijken 😀 De lokatie is gelegen op een zeer stil punt in Zomba en heeft geen buitenterras, dat zou nog wel fijn zijn. En, zoals je wel vaker tegenkomt in Malawi, het weggetje ernaartoe is een zandpad met stenen en kuilen, dus houd daar rekening mee.

"We stayed in a lovely self contained unit with mini kitchen, a master bedroom, and a separate pull out in living room for our teenage son who tagged along. Wonderful to have the spaces functional and also separate. Both the living area and the bedroom have sliding doors to a huge ocean facing deck, the perfect spot to soak up a wonderful sunset. The decor is minimalist and fresh; aptly coastal in white and shades of blue. Unit was spotless!!!! Front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating."

Property does not include beach towels but does provide pool towels. There is a bazaar next door where we found beach towels for the balance of our trip.

"Absolutely loved this hotel !! If there was a rating beyond 5 stars, would have definitely given 5+ stars. The location was just perfect, just 2 mins walk from Kamala beach. The hotel staff was just so courteous, hospitality is exceptionally great. They make you feel at home. I forgot some stuff in the hotel room, the staff was just so kind and helpful, they mailed my package all the way to USA! The suite was amazing - luxurious, with ocean view and a relaxing plunge pool. The breakfast buffet was gorgeous, enjoyed the spread. Overall perfect in all aspects, excellent stay, recommended to all my friends."

Everything was great, the 2nd bedroom could be more lighted.

The room is very small. It's alright but for a longer stay it can be too narrow. There is a strong cigarette smell in the hallways, please enforce the smoking rule more strictly. However, in the rooms it doesnt smell. Also, the bathroom is tiny, so there is not a real shower, it is above the toilet, which can be unconfortable. Also, the elevator takes too long to arrive, which is annoying.

"It was a very pleasant stay. Didn't feel any stress at all. Very Friendly staff. Clean rooms and washrooms. Space is a bit small but for the amount I paid it was worth it. Less than a minute walk to the bus halt. 10 minute walk to the MRT. Saves a lot of money for transportation as well. Highly recommended for a few nights budget stays."

"If you want to walk in Ala-Archa valley and have a romantic diner int the restaurant there…but you don’t want to come back in Bishkek! This place is for you! Small nice hotel with lovely breakfast…alive trout in the swimming pool outside…many places to walk and warm up in sauna after!"

"The hosipitality from all staff was amazing. Everyone was extremely helpful and understanding of all the cross border challenges we experienced. Our group was even offered transportation to and from the airport. Staff checked up with us every step of the way from pre-check in to post airport drop off.The rooms were beautifully set up and clean throughout our stay. Overall ambiance of the hotel gives island vacation , almost forgot this was a work trip"

"Mo provided fantastic hospitality. Very helpful and genuinely welcoming. The hourly rate concept is honestly brilliant, especially for travelers in transit who just need a comfortable place to recharge. Convenient, practical, and run by great people. The paperwork process is a little much so maybe upgrade that. Otherwise, perfect!"

"The pool was necessary but a little dirty. The ac is effective and the hot water is too. You cant ask to much of hospitality businesses in this part of west africa but this place exceeded them. This place is great for overlanders"

Its definitely more of a "hang out" hotel for locals to come swim or watch football. It will probably be a little rowdy on some weekends. The staff seemed a little confused how to handle overnight guests.

"The beds were comfortable and if you found the private bathroom the shower there was the best I have ever had anywhere. Good pressure and hot water. The location is great because it is close to the shops. They have a restaurant there and while the prices are a bit steep the food was quite good."

The place is a hotel in the process of renovation. It is a little old and had seen grander days. Our rooms while having clean beds saw windows that had cobwebs on them and flaky paint. The kitchen is communal and there was just one mug for all. The dish rags were used and dirty. There is a huge clock tower which is a feature of the town and it chimes all through the night. So if you are a light sleeper ask for a back room off the road. The bar staff in the hotel were excellent but there was a dispute with the owner who had posted different information on Booking.com from the room we received. We wanted two separate beds and were initially given one. After additional money was paid we got one room with two beds.

La piscine était sur entretien et en train detre remplir. Dommage pour nous que on ne pouvait pas nager. Mais prochainement ca sera possible.

"We were exceptionally allowed to return after check out time to shower as our flight was later that night. We were also allowed to check in a couple hours before check in time as our flight was early that morning. The breakfast was great. Lots of variety. There should have been more fruit options though. The pool area was well kept and clean and so was the room. The staff were prompt and helpful."

It would have been nice if we were allowed to check out on a complimentary basis a couple hours later as our flight was at 7.50 pm.

It’s the islands, so bring earplugs if roosters bother you. They are everywhere across ALL islands - Cook, Fiji, French Polynesia, Hawaii. A product of human migration.

Жили на третьем этаже, лестницы очень крутые, взрослым людям будет тяжело подниматься. Завтрак был включен, ожидание было, конечно, другое, но увы, сервис оставляет желать лучшего. Утром пошли на завтрак, девушка, встретившая нас с ходу сказала, что кроме яичницы ничего нет. В итоге принесли яичницу с колбасой, на вопрос из какого мяса, ответила грубо, что не знает. На 4 человека дали один чайник чая, попросили дополнительно еще чайник, но это уже было платным. В номере не помешало бы поставить большое зеркало и светильники. Думаю, такие мелочи дали бы уют в номерах.

-The TV is not a smart TV. -The bed is small and not comfortable enough. -From time to time, food odors can be smelled, especially on the upper floors. -There is no heating during cold winter nights — the AC keeps running even when it’s cold. -The shower area slope is incorrect, causing water to flow outside the shower area. -The price is slightly high. .. Improvement Areas (Not Considered Cons): -There are many open parking spaces around the hotel, but it would be great if the hotel could manage one of these areas as an official hotel parking lot. -The dining area needs to be expanded to accommodate more guests. -The number of power sockets is not enough. -Hot water takes time to arrive — it’s not instant, so this should be improved.

The room and food are overpriced for the quality. Inconvenient location. They don’t seem to use or check Booking so it was pointless to make a reservation in advance. Maybe during the high season that will be more useful.

"We stayed at Hotel Novak for one night due to family related situation. Room was spacious, beds very comfortable. They serve breakfast from 7 A.M. until 11 A.M. which we found very useful. Staff was great and very helpful."

There was a strange noise, I think from nearby Factory, which disturb good night sleep 😁.
