He is very nice and helpful. Good breakfast. Safe area. Big shopping centers at walking distance. Laundry close by. It's about 2.5 km from city center. We enjoyed our stay and consider to stay in future."

"Michael the doorman was very friendly and informative. He gave us plenty of information on the surrounding wildlife. The location was close to Fota wildlife park which was well worth a visit. There was a good selection for breakfast with a continental buffet and hot food from the menu. Lunch and dinner were also top notch. Swimming pool and Jacuzzi were nice and quiet during the evening."

"The staff were both professional and friendly, doing a great job accommodating my dad and I. The two bedroom suite was absolutely gorgeous with a stunning balcony view of the beach. It was a pleasure both during the day and nighttime."

There weren't much I did not like about the resort. The suite was comfortable, the staff were pleasure to interact with, the beach was lovely and the meals were good. I appreciated the location because there were so many alternative restaurants nearby to choice from as well. The only suggestion I would offer is having weekly documentation of activities on site when customers check in. My dad likes Aqua Aerobics and I would have liked to know in advance the days and times he could have participated. Unfortunately, we only knew of the activities when we were going to breakfast and saw it in action.

"My wife and I waited 15 years to go to the jade Mountain on St. Lucia. Who knew I would like windjammer much better. The rooms were fantastic, but Marcus and Bridget made everything worthwhile. I would stay here again 100 times before I stated any other hotel on island."

For personal preference, I did not enjoy that the property did not have a coffee bar area with espressos, lattes,etc. Also, I would’ve like for the souvenir shop to offer more variety in cultural snacks and drinks. Water and fountain drinks were limited for purchase:

"It was out in the countryside where it was peaceful. It was also near Dalhalla where I attended a concert."

No taxis nearby and no shuttle service to/from the train station. Their shuttle was in the shop the week I was staying there.

"Brahim Khalil greeted me at my arrival and was very helpful. I truly appreciated his kindness and efficiency, the staff is very friendly and professional a perfect example of great hospitality."

"Very nice place, ecological and socially conscientious, excellent swimming pool, a hot tub heated by exhaust heat from AC, good value for money. The nearby nature is very beautiful."

Breakfast wasn't included - i think it said on the booking, but i'm not sure. anyway, didn't care. Staff was OK, but could be better.

"Clean and nice rooms. Good food . Welcoming and friendly staff. Swimming pool is clean and filtered. Beach is very clean however the sea is wavy."

All was good. Swimming pool is a bit cold.

The menu was good, but could be better. Would have loved more sea activities like jet skiing. Also outdoor screen viewings would have been fun.

Our only complaint was that we were the furthest room from the front desk. Other than that we were very happy with it.

"The hotel is located very close to the beach, you can also use the outdoor and indoor pool. The indoor pool is especially nice when the weather is colder. The price also includes a nice wellness. It is great to have the option to buy lunch and dinner. All the food was excellent."

"The rooms are large and comfortable. The grounds are very well kept, and the pool area is wonderful. This was my third time at this property in ten years. The service was excellent."

The hotel organizes events on the grounds that go until midnight. The first night we were there, it was very loud and the noise was right in our room. The third night, there was another one. It takes away from the calm of the property to host these types of events, even on weeknights. This fact makes me reconsider staying here again because it spoils having a quiet evening in the room or hotel.

The curtains didn’t open and close fully and bathtub stopper didn’t work. Ongoing pool & restaurant construction with no prior notification.

"The indoor pool, kid slides, and Bongo play area were great for our toddler grandson. The breakfast and dinner buffets were good. The food was tasty and plentiful. They had quite a few gluten free options available for our daughter."

The room was dated and needed to be cleaned better. The bathroom doors didn’t lock and one didn’t shut all the way.

"Everything from A-Z was perfect, the staff was super friendly and helpful especially Ali the receptionist he organized and decorated the room for our marriage anniversary, my wife loved the surprise. The view of the Villa is breathtaking, the snow games are fun although I wish the weight limits were a bit more flexible."

"This place is literally out of a dream. The rooms are gorgeous and so peaceful, the small size of the hotel makes it very quiet and relaxing, and the staff is beyond amazing. We can’t wait to come back, and will stay here for all trips to the Cook Islands!"

Absolutely nothing, everything was perfect

"Perfectly situated by the beach with an amazing pool. We had a great time at the LUX. Everyone we met was very nice and friendly. We enjoyed our room with a great view on a gazebo and the ocean in the background. The food was excellent across the massive breakfast buffet and different restaurants for dinner. Special mention for the Carry’s bar (especially canard à la vanille and Rougail saucisse) as well as the Rougail citron dessert."

Hard to find something to mention. To be picky, we would have like a drink included in the half board dinner (soft, glass of wine).

"The hotel is very nice, located right next to Petra’s main entrance. Based on the staff’s recommendation, we took a taxi (there is also a shuttle) to the other side of the park and walked from the end to the beginning. It was probably better than walking the whole long route twice 🙂"

The building is missing an elevator.

"They have a great little lagoon with excellent snorkeling at high tide. Lots of coral and fish to see."

The dive shop is always closed. Fortunately, there is an excellent one adjacent to the property and connected by a walkway. The restaurant is mediocre. The bar pool-side is closed until 5:00 pm but that’s all right because their cocktails are awful.

"Wonderful location, beautiful facilities and excellent staff. Nothing was ever too much hassle, especially from our main host Sarra who couldn’t have been better. Not sure how we will visit a “normal” hotel again!"

Plastic rubbish floating in the sea and oil washed up on shore from a recent spill. Not the fault of the hotel or its staff though.

"Location, Wi-Fi was good. Restaurants were great and the staff are amazing. Kitchenette is a very good addition. Views are amazing and nice hiking trails nearby. There is bus services close by (you can pay by card). Cab services available or book Bolt/Uber."

The mattress is not very comfortable. The sofa-bed was actually better.
