Boats in the Philippines

"The Sailboat Ragamuffin is a unique experience. You are staying in a sailboat moored off of Water Island, where your hosts live after sailing the Caribbean for 30 years. They are a font of information and anecdotes about the US virgin islands and others. Jo is an accomplished chef and strives to give you the food types you desire. They pick you up by dinghy on the Crown Marina dock, and will take you by dinghy over to Water Island. In my case, I had two berths (bedrooms and bathrooms) on the boat, rocked to sleep by the rolling of the boat on the water. Don't miss going to water island, golf cart to Limestone Beach (coral reef) and Honeymoon Beach (the latter has turtles swimming around)"

The listing didn't make it quite clear what the accommodation would be - it described an apartment and a pool view. I thought it might be a houseboat on a dock. The pool view is the sea around the boat!

Nur ein einziger Punkt wäre verbesserungswürdig. Verdunklungsrollos im Bereich der Schlafbereich würden für etwas längere Nächte sorgen :-)

There’s barely anything to fault, but the spot is a bit far from busy areas. It wasn’t a real issue for us, though, since we wanted a peaceful stay.

"Unique accommodation on a houseboat on the Danube, with a good restaurant above. From the room, you can step right out onto the deck and sit next to the river. There are mosquito nets, and air conditioning (though I did not need it). Convenient for visiting the nearby Danubiana Museum (5 mins on foot) or great if you want to stay just outside of Bratislava."

"Ein außergewöhnliches und unvergessliches Karibikerlebnis! Absolut zu empfehlen! Der Gastgeber Franck ist sehr nett und er erklärt auch wunderbar die Handhabung des Dingis, so dass man auch jederzeit an Land gehen kann. Möchte man aber bei so einem paradiesischen Hausboot gar nicht :-). Mehr Karibik geht nicht!"
