The only small downside were the pillows, which were a bit higher than we’re used to, but it didn’t take away from an otherwise fantastic experience.

"My sister and I arrived late (maybe 10 PM) after our car broke down. Most of the staff had left for the day. We were shown to our room which had one king bed which wasn't what we ordered. We tried to explain to the worker we wanted two beds. He didn't speak much English but was able to get a hold of the owner who was still on site and he upgraded us to the superior room with two beds for free, which was very nice. The rooms are much more comfortable than most hotels in Madagascar. The property is gorgeous, and the food was excellent. We enjoyed wandering the grounds of the property after a day of exploring Isalo National Park."

Very expensive by Malagasy standards.

You really need a car to get around. Not the property's fault as there is no public transportation and taxis are extortionately expensive (return trip to Cayenne and back €75)

maybe a nice sign or where to turn before the dirt road street would be nice to know , in case people ever feel lost or even at night when its hard to see.

"Rosita, the innkeeper, went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. She is a wonderful hostess. The inn is in a quiet location, close to the beach. The room came with a kitchenette."

"We had a spectacular time staying at the Tsoelike River Lodge in Lesotho! The staff was exceptionally friendly, making sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. They consistently checked in with us to make sure our fires were lit in our cabins, if we needed the room to be freshened up, and if we were enjoying our time. This on top of the stunning mountain views right from your window made for a wonderful stay."

The room was cozy, the staff were incredibly friendly and kind, and the location had a nice, peaceful vibe. It was a great and fun stay overall."

The only small downsides: the room could really use a mini fridge to keep water cold during the summer, and a full-length mirror would be a great addition. But aside from that, everything was fantastic.

"Very good stay at quiet place surrounded by stunning nature. The inside is quite new and very clean. Friendly and attentive owners who speak some English. Their daughter speaks English well. Muy bien!!"

"A wonderful small house in a quiete place. Not a big one but equipped very well with all necessary kitchen appliances including a dishwasher. There is also a nice terrace outside with a barbeque place. Everything was very clean, the house is very cozy"

What was there not to like?

"very good location uphill, very far from street noise. we enjoyed seaview and city lights at horizon, that fara we could see from the highest small house. we got some hammocks up there and were having fun next to the amazing nature whilst chilling on the balcony, thanks to guys who secured our stay"

"Perfect little cabin / apartment with everything you need and great access / views of lake and mountains outside your door. As I read in a review when i booked this, really wish we had stayed more than 1 night. We could have happily stayed a week here. Great base in Vagamo with a 25 minute drive to Lom and access to Jotunheimen National Park. Highly recommend!"

"Everyone there is amazing! Incredible view from all the areas wherever you go, I was teleworking from there, and needed somewhere nice/calm/comfy to work from. Thank you, Sardan, for all the help and care and always checking on me and helping with my plans. The place by the pool is really nice for all the hot days, and they played really nice soft music that uplifted the vibes. The bungalow was gorgeous, too, waking up with a sea view directly from your bed. Perfect for couples or solo travelers. I booked for 2 nights and ended up extending for a full week. Can't wait to come back there. Kabak Beach is like a 30 min hike downstairs , it's very nice and cozy without trashy tourists vibe like Oludeniz."
