Capsule Hotels in the Philippines

"I had an excellent private room stay at Blasina Hotel (aka Blasina Beer Hostel). The staff at this hotel was attentive, friendly, and they provided excellent customer service. A special thanks go out to Tomas (manager) for all his tour and shuttle scheduling support. The amenities provided by the hotel were impeccable: free WiFi, two fully stocked kitchens, televisions, lounge areas, and the amazingly "hot" water. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying at this place."

There is a restaurant bar just 100 feet from this hotel. On Saturdays, they play loud music until 3:00 AM. My room did not have very good soundproofing for such events. Fortunately, I had ear plugs that helped tune out the noise 90% of the time.

I ended up moving to a different hotel (overlooking the salt lake) so I never got to spend the night.

"The space & rooms are sufficient for a comfortable stay specially for long layover. The bed is very comfortable as well & the lighting control makes it really easy to set the perfect lighting as you need."

The cabins are not sound proof which makes it not child friendly as the staff warns if your baby cries you have to move out.

"It was in the center of everything. Easy to get around especially with the taxi driver Damian, customer service was very fast we loved it"

"Hostal Villamil's hosts are an original couple from the island itself, greatly welcoming, friendly and helpful. Its location is central, nearby plaza, plenty of restaurants, close to beach and lagoon with flamingos."

All was great.

"The small room is just right. I like the comfy bed and the staff members. The free water bottle refills is a plus too!"

I didn’t like that there’s no trash bags inside the rooms.

"I came by ferry and stayed 2 nights. I did not want to rent a car, so very convenient, as lodge is near pizza place, food truck, sailboat marina and main grocery store. There is a complete kitchen with full size range, oven, refrigerator, sink for the 3 units to use. Nice covered picnic table The owner was fantastic, and even offered to drive me back to the ferry, as it was a Saturday and had the day off work."

I did have a hard time finding place due to only one tiny sign on the opposite side of the road

It would have been great if they would also provide WiFi, but at the same time a great moment to disconnect.
