"Very helpful staff - they would coordinate taxi rides at good prices using a local app, and explain things to the driver in French. Really good food - loved the delicious green beans and the mixed vegetables. Also really enjoyed the unusual tuna omelette. Walkable location on quiet road, close to many beach bars, Good value stay."

The WiFi network has many overlapping networks with different numbers (Hotel Aurore 2, Hotel Aurore 4, etc.), and none of them would stay consistently online. At one point I was able to do 20 minutes of streaming, but at many other times I could not do photo uploading. If they could get a solid WiFi connection all under a single network, this would be a huge upgrade. The jacuzzi was not actually heated when I checked. I was in two sizes of rooms, and the A/C seemed to do a pretty good job in the smaller one, but struggled to cool the room in a triple room, which may reflect the size of the room vs. the A/C output. The shower did not actually work when I first arrived (though they were able to fix that within about 15 minutes.) Even when fixed, the shower water got lukewarm, not hot.

Toilet this time not so clean. Found a pubic hair on the wall of the tub. There was a bad drain smell coming out of toilet, sink drain & floor drain.

"The nature, the vibe, the soviet style memories- just to let you know its not for everyone- nothing fancy, at least not at the moment. It was an exceptional experience for sure. You will like it if you go with tight mindset of travel back in time. Food in the restaurant was nice, the owner is cool and the staff is friendly. Nature around is amazing, even a bat visited us in the room:))"

It definetely needs some tune up, at least to change the bedsheets, pilows for the starters (bringing your own for now isnt a bad idea), and then fix the broken wardrobes and handles.

"The best hotel option in Rosseau. The breakfast buffet was excellent, although not inexpensive ($25 USD). Several bars located throughout the property, with the pool bar being our favorite. The lobby and new part of the building look great. We did a few dives with the dive shop located on site and they are excellent!"

The older part of the hotel is dated and not as nice as the newer part. The cruise ships dock right outside the hotel, which takes away from your view of the ocean and adds 2,000+ people to an already busy city. The pool, although nice and surprisingly not busy during our stay, is undersized. The city of Rosseau is not nice, overpopulated, and unbearable to drive through. There is no need to leave the resort.

There was nothing to dislike.

this could be improved: -the beach has a lot of potential, buiding a nice peer with stairs for a sea swim would make it much better -there isnt enough shade in the garden and the sun is punishing -the trees on the beach have fruits that hurt when falling, as part of garden maintenance they should be shuffled to drop the fruits upfront -the restaurant options both for breakfast, meals and snacks, leaves out a lot of the good things of Sao Tome. Look at your competitor Riu, for instance, they always have a section with local treats

"The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is very charming and has incredible views. The bus stops directly in front of the hotel and there is a little convenience store right out front."

Our only fault with the hotel was the pillows. They are an odd size and quite lumpy. The beds were quite comfortable though.

"If you are only considering staying, it’s also an option to stay Royal Orchid Hotel, because the price is affordable. Friendly staff answered all my questions."

The escalator was out of order.

We did not have hot water the first night. The second day it came, but it was always either very hot or very cold.

"The hotel is set on the edge of the sea, with the pool and restaurants directly beside it. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Our room was also very comfortable and quiet and spacious. We hosted a private dinner for my husband's birthday for 40+ guests and the service, food, set up, ambiance and every last detail was impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to help manage last minute requests (flowers, placecards, etc.!). They did everything with a wonderful attitude and provided excellent service. I would highly recommend this hotel both for a stay or for hosting a special event. I would definitely go back."

Nothing really- all was great! There is no beach at the hotel (which we knew), but there are beaches close by.

My gf slip and fell in the pool as the frame drain cover was broken in the middle.

Way too expensive for what is offered, having in mind the resort next door charges the same for all-inclusive. The dinner options (which was included in my rate) were also very limited, especially if you’re picky with food, or have some dietary restriction. The breakfast options were okay but nothing to rave about.

"The hotel is conveniently located near the sea, close to a few good restaurants, and decent grocery store. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay. I would stay here again."

The patio and chairs on the balcony were very dirty. There should have been a small travel pack toothpaste and toothbrush.

"The hotel is perfectly located for arriving by bus late at night. A few minutes walk and you are at the hotel.. There is no need to worry about finding an honest taxi or onward travel. A very warm and friendly welcome by professional reception staff who speak English. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was great. There is a very good supermarket next door and lots of restaurants. It is a short, easy walk to the centre to and you can leave your luggage after check out so perfect if your onward travel is by bus. Kosovo is such a friendly country, and I loved the atmosphere and welcome in Prishtina."

Por ahí tener un colcha de verano o similar. Y que el baño tenga cortina a fin de que no se moje todo al bañarse. Igual todo correcto.

We liked everything, it was nice to have the option to enjoy dinner right at the hotel and a bonus that there was a discounted first night for the dinner. The buffet was good and breakfast was great as well. If the weather permits it would be wonderful to be able to sit outside overlooking the ocean.

"Quiet location outside of downtown, comfortable room, accommodating and helpful staff at check in, ample parking. Had a very comfortable stay and a good sleep! Also really liked the filtered water station and glass refillable bottle instead of disposable plastic bottles of water - appreciated the eco-focus! It’s a long walk to the centre of town but a pleasant one (45-50 minutes) and we walked both ways for the exercise as we were beginning a long 37 hour journey home - but the hotel does provide a shuttle if you prefer that."

Only a small observation is that the hallways have different coloured spot lighting (purple green blue etc) which initially felt “cheap” or retro - like we were in a small town 1980s disco/motel. But it was just a stylistic choice/first impression that didn’t impact our stay and did not impact on the room or larger hotel grounds which were lovely.

"The location and the pool. There sauna is not working anymore and that’s sad because they used to have a nice spa. I learned that you can still book a massage. I like that they keep the parking free for costumers! Please do not change that."

Some details need to be changed, seams old. The shower was small for my husband and there was only one bottle of water inside the friedge ( we booked for 2 people). They charge me a security fee but there is nothing inside the room to eat. All those things are wired.

The hotel’s location is ideal, within easy walking distance of markets, great restaurants, and plenty of massage studios right nearby. "The hotel has very nice reasonably priced rooms facing the lake and the island..The best being those to the right as you face the lake, those to the left have small windows. The rooms are comfortable but in need of a little update. This goes for the hotel as a whole but the great views are the bonus and it's only an 11 minute walk to the island."

The hotel needs some care and attention to ensure the physical appearance is improved.

Lobby area by bar or library carpet looks dirty or filthy -needs newer carpet or change color to brighten the room , I was bitten a lot by mosquitoes while I was seated at the lobby for few minutes, I told the front desk and showed them my mosquito bites and they seem like no clue what I was saying. Hallways to the room needs some updates looks old but it’s fine, it’s clean.
